This place! Our family spent three night here over Thanksgiving. What a find! The place is a true gem. Family owned and operated and they make you feel like family visiting for the weekend. Jolene greeted us when we checked in and offered us wine and beer while she gave us a tour of the property. Jolene and Bo made our stay extra special with their amazing hospitality. The ranch has a full bar with wine, beer and spirits. Breakfast and dinner are included in the rate. The pool and hot tub look nice, but we didn’t t use it. We had a blast in the game room playing ping pong, pool, and foosball. The great room has a giant fireplace, couches and a great bar. We stayed in room #4. Great bed, nice bathroom and a wet bar with a sink and mini fridge. Other family member stayed in cabin #18 which was two stories and slept 6. If you stay, head down to the stable and have Jack set you up with a horse ride. Cowboys Aaron and Angel took us on a great ride. The place is special, give it a visit.

Absolutely amazing experience!! Breakfast and dinner were so amazing each day, the rooms were spectacular (most comfortable beds EVER) and the staff are all so lovely. The star of the show is the horseback riding, we did the 2.5 hour ride and it was breathtaking and such an AMAZING experience. I will definitely be coming back and recommending this place for anyone who wants a peaceful getaway.

We recently hosted our wedding at Circle Bar B Ranch and could not have picked a better venue. Close friends and family stayed at the Ranch starting Thursday and we hosted both our rehearsal dinner and wedding ceremony/reception on Friday and Saturday.
Kathy, Theresa and the entire staff went above and beyond to make sure our weekend would be unforgettable and our guests have continued to rave about how amazing the food was. We look forward to many anniversaries and future family reunions being hosted at Circle Bar B Ranch and could not recommend it enough for a weekend wedding destination.

I'm from Montana and I know a good ranch when I see one... The Circle Bar B is a GREAT one. California is so lucky to have this gem and it has been running for 85 years and counting!!

We were my wife and daughter away. 3 days of horse riding. 2.5 4, and 1.5 hours. Fantastic friendly wranglers. Nice cabin. And beautiful surroundings.
The only minus was that you got quite hungry in the middle of the day. And there was only the opportunity to buy some snacks, but that was quickly forgotten but the lovely pool and the atmosphere from the ranch. We will definitely come again. Next time with some snacks from home 😀
The rides were wonderful and the horses looked amazing. A completely unforgettable experience.
Rooms: Lovely cabin. Super clean and neat.
Food and drinks: Breakfast and dinner were delicious. And friendly staff.
There is little food left for mid-day.

So much fun. Super friendly staff, location was truly breathtaking and secluded. It was all in all a great experience.
Nearby activities: Local horseback riding. They had staff and horses for a trail ride through a beautiful scenic trail. About an hour ride and worth the experience.

We had an amazing ride with Jimmy! From the time I called to inquire about logistics until after we left, we were treated with kindness and care. Cowboy Jack answered all of our questions and helped us to book our ride as we needed to work around my daughter's work schedule. When we arrived, Jack helped us get ready and Jimmy took over for our ride. My daughter was a beginner and she thoroughly enjoyed the ride, even though a hornet caused a scary moment! Jimmy helped her manage her horse during the scary moment and all was well:). We enjoyed amazing vistas including the Pacific Ocean and Jimmy pointed out flora and fauna along the trail. This trail ride is worth it and I recommend it for anyone enjoying a break from the hustle and bustle!!! Go for it!

Booked a 2 1/2 hour private trail ride through these guys and from beginning to end was easy. I received a confirmation call the day before, someone was there to welcome and greet us the day of and our trail guide Caden (sp) was awesome/patient/funny.
They clearly care about their animals and you can see they were treated lovingly. All the trails were cleared so the horses didn't have a tough time and we passed a few gorgeous waterfalls along the way.

Great experience. Jimmy was a great lead man when we went horseback riding. Learned a little about horses, how to ride and a few new dad jokes. Beautiful scenery and views. Everything and everyone there was very professional. We will be back.

We loved the Circle Bar B , this place is perfect for a romantic getaway the people were extremely kind, our cabin was just remodeled and was very comfortable, the food was delicious and the horse ride was safe and fun, we are grateful for this place.

If you are looking for a quiet getaway with no distractions, the staff are very kind and helpful doing their best to meet all of your needs. The food here is really great, the cabins are cozy and very comfortable for a romantic quiet setting, if you are looking for a peaceful restful delightful place to refresh, look no further.

If you have a lot of money to spend then sure, this is a great experience. I can’t fault the staff who actually work with the horses, Randy and co were amazing and I’d go back just for a ride with them! But in terms of staying at the ranch itself? Honestly, I wouldn’t do it again.
I booked to go to California specifically for this experience and my mums birthday. It was supposed to be a special experience. But it was really lacking which was so disappointing. We were the only people staying at the ranch which might have been nice but honestly it just felt a bit awkward, especially as I could see that I had paid full price and they were doing Instagram deals of about 30% off for the same days we were staying to try and get people in, which honestly just felt a bit crap. They said they “upgraded” us but we were the only people there so it would be kind of weird if they didn’t but actually, I had booked a proper western style ranch room and what we got was a white washed room that I could stay in absolutely anywhere. The room didn’t even have a kettle and really felt as if the owner hadn’t stayed in the room to understand what was needed, we had a better stay in Santa Monica for less than have the price.
Overall, pretty disappointing.
