This branch in Goleta offers the highest degree of professionalism and warmth, a combination that is almost impossible to achieve in most commercial banking settings where indifferent customer service, long lines, and hidden fees seem to prevail.

Led by Branch Manager, Jonathan, who oversees a youthful crew of the most courteous and efficient staff, Golden 1 is the perfect place to put my hard-earned money. PS I always thought that there could be problems with accessing cash at credit union ATMs, but there is a vast network of reciprocal credit union ATMs so I can withdraw money anywhere, and when I’m overseas, I can use my ATM debit card to withdraw foreign currency as well. For all your banking needs, please consider your local credit union, but especially this one, because Goleta Golden 1 Credit Union customer service is truly excellent.”

“BASIC STORE WITH EXTRAORDINARY WORKERS:This is a relatively small-sized Albertson's, and yet one of the busier locations due to it's prominent space in the Calle Real Center in Goleta. It's not fancy, and in fact, is likely overdue for a much-needed makeover. However, it's clean and the workers go out of their way to smile and extend a little cheer, despite their busy days. I have had the pleasure of getting to know a few of the checkers as I often find myself stocking up at this location. Things I would not change:***Their lovely workers and their great attitude. Things I would change:*** More diversity of products (such as what I find at the Buellton Albertson's location).*** A much larger baked goods section or actually adding a small on-site bakery. Remember to say hi and thank your hard working essential service workers as you peruse.”
