Came multiple times early in the morning to drop off car and was told they wouldn’t work on a 2014 Audi that is not mechanically difficult. They ultimately wasted my time and wasn’t happy or satisfied. I just felt not welcomed and they were very aggressive to not bring the car to there shop when I asked for a service and they agreed.

Just picked up my 95 BMW from David at German Auto Repair and I have to say he is so much better than other shops I have dealt with, especially with an aging car like mine. I brought my car in to replace my brakes after listening to them squeak for a week or so. David let me know that despite the noise, the brakes were fine for a good while, and I didn't need to shell out extra cash for a needless job. They also helped me with an AC belt replacement that was causing some heinous squeaking on the startup. He and his mechanic were even so courteous as to bring my car to get smogged for me since my work day is a bit restrictive. Needless to say, I fully intend to make German Auto Repair my go to for keeping my old 95 going. They are awesome.Services: General repairs & maintenance

I am a frustrated customer from Eric Kreb. For six years, they sucked my blood with my Mercedes R350. Then I decided no more! I found German Auto Repair by googling. Talked to the owner Mike. A really really nice guy and honest as it gets! He got my battery (external) and internal (auxiliary) battery changed by dealer parts in nearly half the price Eric Kreb quoted me. German Auto you just signed up a customer for life! I will come back to you for "ALL" of my R350 needs! Thank you!!

Had no idea this shop existed in Goleta the Goodland. When attempting to smog my Mercedes for the first time and failing, I was referred here. The mechanic/owner went above and beyond to fix the issue and did. He was affordable, helpful and kind. Not usual descriptions of a mechanic ; ). I'll definitely be visiting him for any auto repairs in the future!

My VW beetle has had a variety of mechanical issues. Ranging from my check engine light being on to needing a full car inspection, German Auto Repair provides the service. When I bring my car to German Auto Repair, the service is detailed and fast while the pricing is very fair. 10/10 recommend this place! My VW beetle has had a lot of car problems. Mike has saved my car! When I bring my car into the shop, Mike does a detailed job, works very fast meanwhile he is an expert at what he does. Mike also charges very fair prices compared to other places. Thank you!

Have been coming to Mike (the mechanic) to work on my Mercedes for some time now. He is polite, professional, and extremely helpful. Always able to get my car in, and fixed properly in a short amount of time. Always willing to help and offer advice even over the phone. Cant recommend this place enough.

Very friendly and helpful. We started using this shop a couple years ago for our older BMW. It needed some work and the owner was very honest about what he recommended doing and what we should leave for later. All immediate problems were fixed. I couldn't be happier with the service and customer relation. This is one of the few repair shops that you can talk to the owner in detail about your car without feeling rushed.
