“So, I always read the lowest reviews of a business because they are often an honest insight of what to expect. This is one exception where I have to ask, did these reviewers stay at the same hotel I did?I arrived in Goleta toward the end of November for my job. I was only supposed to be there for a week. My hotel reservation was kind of last minute, but I was able to get a nice room without any problem. At the last minute, my job assignment turned into two weeks, then three; all at the last minute. I had no problem extending my reservation.I travel A LOT for work. More than half my life is spent in hotel rooms. Hands down, this is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. The staff was chill and greeted me by name every day when I left for work and returned. They were beyond helpful every time I had to extend my reservation. And the room was really nice. I don’t really care what my view from the room is, I am only using it to sleep. The airport didn’t bother me either. I live next to a Navy base, so I am used to hearing jets take off and land all hours of the day.And for breakfast, they use real eggs! Not the powdered garbage like many other hotels offer. This is a bitchen hotel. I will be working in the area again next year and look forward to staying there again.”

“This plate took great care of me during the recent storm and the place is very nice. Leaving location at 5* bc yes it's under a flight path, but so is most of Goleta and this is nice and close to airport parking and restaurants. If that's your jam, this is the right place.”

“We had an amazing time staying in the Adventure Yurt in December! Our room had everything we needed for a true "glamping" experience - electricity, space heater, hot water maker, microwave, and plenty of warm blankets. The staff very friendly and gave us some tips on how to get our fire started. Although it was a bit damp because it had rained earlier in the week, we were still able to get the campfire going and enjoy s'mores and a pseudo-camping experience. The communal bath/shower room was relatively clean, though one of the shower stalls was directly under a bird's nest and had some bird poop in it. The bathroom/shower was never crowded and we could take a shower comfortably. You can hike up the hill at around 8am and hang out with the animals - they have sheep, goats, a donkey, and llamas, and they usually need help feeding them! This was great for the kids to get some up-close and personal time with the animals. We will definitely be going back and probably booking the bunk or queen cabin, since those have a private bathroom and kitchenette.”

“Felt safe.....I traveled with a friend who left after two days then I stayed 3 more days alone in back around the corner in #126 2 double beds ....sweet staff and my room was very VERY clean..... GREAT SHOWER wonderful water pressure......Beds are a little firm but tolerable enough for my bad hip (side sleeper).....I was on the ground floor and i did hear the people upstairs rolling suitcases....walking around and going in and out most of one of the nights...but mostly it wasn't too bad the other days/nights... Hard floors make it worse. Easy parking with a trailer..... They have washers and dryers for a fee and free ice and coffee and tea bags.Nearby activities: Close to the 101 freeway but I never heard the cars...... Also surrounded by grocery stores, shops and restaurants.....We ate twice at the Cajun Cafe.....ridiculously good food and service.Safety: Well lit...... Office staff on site....for more protection just remember to put a hanger in the door latch. Huge TV screen and I never heard the neighbors TV at all.Walkability: Close to shops....yummy restaurants and grocery stores....Rusty's pizza right across the street too.”
