I have been with Wells Fargo for 33 years and never had an experience like this today. Wow. I had an insurance claim on my rental property where they send checks to me for reimbursement. So far I have had to deposit three checks into my WF account. Every time I try to deposit these checks that have my name on it, I have to deposit it in person with photo ID. The tellers at this branch are ignorant about how to deposit this type of check. I have had to explain to them each time, how to do it. Today the teller wouldn't let me explain. She just shoved the check back in my face claiming she couldn't deposit it. Instead of asking a manager who does have the knowledge, she just stated her reasons for not being able to deposit my check into my account. Another teller got involved and told me to drop my "attitude". I then asked for his card and he refused to give it to me. I asked for his name and he turned his back on me so I couldn't read his name tag. I followed him because he then walked to the break room while muttering negative words about me. A customer in the bank looked at me and shook her said and couldn't believe how I was being treated. I demanded to speak to a manager at that point and the manager, Sandy, refused to give me the male teller's card or his name. She then apologized on my behalf for MY behavior to my mother who was with me at the time. I then asked to speak with HER MOTHER so I could reciprocate by complaining to her about her daughter's behavior! She then threatened to close my account at that moment. I will not be returning to this branch. As I was leaving she called my mother by the wrong name and told me "this happens every day here". I said if this happens every day here you have bigger problems with your branch than I realized.

This bank sucks. They are never helpful. The people who work there are horrible.

Our family stopped by the branch to open a personal bank account for our son attending the univ. Mr. Augie Corona helped and guided us each step of the way and, what we’d expected to be an arduous process since we reside out of the country, turned out very well. Thank you, Mr. Augie Corona!!!

I've been a customer for years, last week I went to the bank in Goleta to notarized a document and was told that people come to the bank to get their documents notarized for free and I told them that I was a customer for many years then they said that they don't have anybody available and I need to make an appointment, then they said just leave your name and phone number and we'll call you. It's been two weeks already and have not heard from them.Shame on you guys!!In Jersey, which is the place I live, this document could have been done right away

Here's a company that doesn't care about you. Even in the slightest. And they clearly aren't getting anyone to come work for them either. People have lives. And a big part of your life is the effective use of time. But Wells Fargo doesn't care about your time. The line was particularly long this afternoon. You know, the worst day to go to the bank--a payday, coupled with a Monday, and coupled with late in the day when regular people finally have down time to go to the bank. Just chose another bank. With about 3 tellers the long long line of customers had a long wait. A very long wait. I got fed up. No one in that bank can even think about doing anything to help make it less troublesome. So I went into the business area of the bank with nary a worker in sight, not a seat being used, and moved the chairs to the line to help the 30-40 plus men and women waiting patiently for their turn at the windows. No one at Wells Fargo would even think to do that. Wells Fargo. Think about showing some consideration for your customers.

This is more for the company than anything, there is always a line out the door and only two tellers. This place needs more tellers, putting this much stress on two people can be overwhelming. Especially if they have to deal with people who have been waiting in line for 30+ min and are in a bad mood because of it. It's called supply and demand and there's obviously a demand for more bank tellers. The line out the door is always so consistent that I usually plan on waiting for 20-30min. I am NOT mad at the tellers because they are people who need a break, Wells Fargo hire more tellers for this location!!!!!!

Thought about opening an acct at WF a few times. After a trip to this branch with a relative (their bank), I changed my mind - at least for now. The line was out the door and there were only 2 tellers on duty. The teller poked around on the computer for awhile, then had to call the manager as she didn't know how to do something on the system. If she was in training, shouldn't her manager have been right by her side the whole time?

I went there twice today just to open an account. One representative was helping a person. Nobody was waiting. I was told the whole day today nobody could help me even I wanted to wait.

Lack of employee there, Made an appointment to get a safety deposit box there, drove all the way there, person/ Banker didn't come in, they did not even call to cancel my appointment, Manager was nice and apologetic, but that didn't explain why they didn't have another person to cover.

Long lines, bankers and a greeter just standing around, chatty tellers.

Huge lines. They closed other branches. They can't staff this one and was just informed they don't have the staff to stay open for lunch. A national bank that hates their customers this much shouldn't be in business. Real close to closing my accounts that I have had for 16 years.Edit to add:Every time I drive by this location it has a line out down the street. While they do limit the amount of people in line in doors they also typically only have two tillers. The most I have ever seen is 3. They have plenty of windows to allow for more with social distancing of closing every other window. The failure of the Goleta/Santa Barbara Wells Fargo branches clearly leads back to poor management.

After all this time this is still the worst Wells Fargo bank. Always wait longer here, and the staff seems less trained than other locations. Now, in the age of COVID, even longer waits and more frustration

I've always had a very positive experience coming to this bank. They are socially distancing and only allow a certain number of people so expect a short wait. The workers are SO kind- I wanted to give a big shoutout to Natalie and Evelyn! They both are very sweet, knowledgeable, and took their time with me. I would highly recommend this location. It is really nice to have such exceptional customer service- even amongst these difficult times. Great job ladies!!
