The pharmacists and staff here are GREAT. Very sick with covid in September, because of their extra efforts at the very end of the work day, they went the extra mile to fill an RX for paxlovid for me. I am so grateful. The staff and pharmacists are BESIEGED with sick, needy and demanding people ALL DAY LONG. We customers need to be more forgiving, understanding and tolerant.

This pharmacy is horrible. We waited 45 minutes in the drive-thru line just to be told that the prescription wasn't ready. The doctor called it in last week and they never processed it. The tech was saying things about it being a 90 day supply but switched to 30.. irrelevant. Nobody needed it changed to 30. I wonder why they don't wear name tags.... She told us to come back in 45 mins.. so we did and still waiting over an hour, after another tech told us he would check, he walked away and never came back. They are chugging coffee and monster energy drinks back there and watching football on someone's iPhone. Pharmacist is walking around aimlessly and nobody answers the phone. This pharmacy is a joke. I didn't see them greet any customers waiting in line, or apologize for the wait. I work pharmacy and this place is a disgrace. The front store however is always helpful and never had any issues with the photo department. These floater pharmacist are terrible and don't prioritize waiters and have techs give pharmacy consults... pharmacy arrival time 3:30.. it is 5:45 and they close at 6.

Worst service of any pharmacy. They totally blew a simple refill, gave me the run-around, then made me waste much time and gas calling and going back and forth. wasted my good doctor's time as well sending in another order. Will never use them again.

Woman Cashier appeared bored with her job. While ringing me up, I entered my # into the keypad. I signed up for the Walgreens rewards program yrs ago. The cashier told me they had changed systems and that I should redo my info. When the T&Cs flashed on the keypad - several lines long - the woman pressured me 2x to just press the green button & accept. In response I told her 2x that I was reading. Don't know about you, but I like to read what I agree to - it's my right.

First, I will say, Matthew gets 5 stars for his willingness to help. Basically, my doc ordered a med for me, but it only came in two strengths. Matthew agreed to call my doc, and said they would call me when it was ready. Three week latter, this is what I get! I was told that my doc never responded. Naturally I called my doc, and his receptionist said they indeed called. She then called yet a second time. The incompetent person who took the call told the receptionist that they didn't feel comfortable telling me that the med cost $1500 out of pocket, and that insurance doesn't cover the medication. I understand her concern, if that's what it truly was. HOWEVER, that was not her call! Totally unacceptable, totally unprofessional! Thank goodness it's not a life or death medication!!

Gene is the only nice man there! Everyone seems grumpy and they dont like thier jobs. I called and ask if I could ride my electric bike through the drive-thru. It is a form of transportation for me. Whomever i talk to said yes, no problem. Once i got there, i sat outside for 15 minutes, ringing the bell. The staff ignored me. Finally, when the pharmacist came to the window - I got rudely reprimanded that i cant ride my e-bike through. Feeling confused, I explained that I called and asked. Maybe posting a sign saying no ebikes allowed and a freindly smile to greet customers would be helpful and polite.

Worst drive thru pharmacy experience ever. Waited in my 90 degree car, in the drive thru line behind 4 cars for about 20 minutes. In the meantime, my son walked in the store and picked up his prescription while I was still waiting in the car drive thru. No respect!

They have good prices and it's always clean. This past week I stopped by to get some floss and it looked like only 2 people were working... it took a couple minutes for someone to get to the register but I was in no rush, the lady was friendly.

I had a prescription sent there. I got a text it was delayed and they would let me know when it was in and ready. The next day i got a text that it was ready and i could view the price. I had gotten this prescription two years ago. The price was so expensive that i called. I was told to bring my insurance cards when i came to get it and they would check it out. They not only had no record of me getting this prescription there but they also didn't have it in. No apology...nothing. I even brought the box showing that i had gotten it there before. I don't think I'll be getting anything there again!

Absolutely worst customer service ... I have been here 5 times, the pharmacy techs absolutely cannot figure out how to pair syringes with my injectable medication on the order. Every time it is a 30 minute fiasco and I end up having to go in the store after sitting in the drive through for 20 minutes. What a joke! Where do they even find these people, and why are they getting paid??!

I waited in line for approximately 10 minutes and the cashier decided he didn't want to ring up my cart full of items. He called the manager and after another 5 minutes the manager 'Laquita' Cale's me over to photo. I don't know how she is the manager since she is very rude and acts annoyed to be doing her job. Disappointing for sure since I am a regular at this store and always try to treat workers in the service industry with respect and kindness as a customer. Same should be expected of their staff. There are a handful of entitled employees at this location who seem 'put out' by simply doing their job. Probably filters down from managers such as Laquita.

The Goleta Walgreens is much better than Lompoc. The best perk - drive thru pharmacy. I would give more stars if they were adequately staffed but I always seem to have a 20 minute plus wait at almost any time of day.

this is the worst pharmacy i've ever been to. first of all, the wait time is ridiculous. plan on spending 30 minutes just waiting in line. second, the staff are incompetent and unfriendly. they often find any excuse to not dispense your medication. the staff are always unable to do anything on their own. they always need to have multiple people huddled around one computer screen. also be prepared for dirty looks from the staff depending on what medication you pick up. i transferred everything to the CVS across the street. i expect this walgreens to make it difficult.
