You can connect this with O’Melveny for a longer loop, but even on its own it’s a pleasant walk. The canyon funnels a cool breeze that makes summer mornings comfortable. We saw hawks and a couple of rabbits. Not much shade in parts, so a hat helps. The trail is wide enough that passing is easy

Shaded, quiet, green, and peaceful. Lots of green space.
Playground: There is a decent shaded playground that has no sand.
Picnic area: Lots of tables and shaded areas for picnics.
