I had the worst experience with this automotive shop! The car was towed there after hitting a pothole on the highway and Bob, the owner, recommended replacing the fuel pump which was confirmed by the insurance adjuster. After 10 days of work, I picked up the car and within a 5-minute drive the fuel gauge showed low fuel. When I tried to refuel, gas started spewing from the undercarriage. I brought it back and it turned out that the whole fuel tank needed replacement at that point. A week and a half passed with a lack of updates or information on when the car will be ready, as quoting Bob he does not have a crystal ball to estimate the time it requires to fix a car. After checking in on the shop physically, I learned that 4 airbags had deployed when the car was driven by Bob.The insurance company considers the airbag incident as a second claim, as they do not believe that hitting a pothole would activate airbags with over a month of delay especially considering the car had been driven (the gas spewing incident), which makes sense. They suggested that the "brains" diagnostic sensors of the car may not have been installed correctly after the fuel pump and tank replacement, causing the airbags to deploy.Bob was unhelpful and failed to offer a refund for the services that were not provided to satisfaction (the car was not fixed and inoperable). Additionally, he asked inappropriate and discriminatory questions during our conversations (such as " How old are you?" and "What do you do for a living?" while the conversations were solely about how the fuel tank issue and airbag issue could have happened). The car had only 50,000 miles, and I believe would have gotten a lot of use if taken to a different shop. If I were you I would think 100 times before bringing your car to this shop.

DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE. He has had my car for 6 months, he hasn't finished the repairs, and he has been paid 90% of the total balance. Avoid yourself all the headaches. He gives you the runaround, doesn't answer calls or txt messages. He doesn't meet deadlines and gives so many excuses as to why the job gets delayed. Then he tells you that he can't find the parts and needs to buy them new so he asks for more money. All bad news.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!! Paul promised that the job to repair our car would take one week. He had the car in his shop for literally 3 months! We called and called, and he "promised" he would get right to it. He had excuse after excuse as to why it wasn't finished. It was an insurance job, so he thought he could take as long as he wanted. Meanwhile, we had to return our rental car, and were without a car for 2 months.

I brought a vehicle in to have a part painted and a pair of exhaust tips installed. The paint process was done well ( $ 800.00 charge ) and the labor for the exhaust tips was ( $ 400.00 ). I was informed that the brackets that were on the interior part of the bumper where the exhaust tips were connected to were old. I was never told that this would cause the left side exhaust tips to almost fall off ( partially hanging on ) when I brought it back to their shop only a few weeks later. It should have properly been sealed or attached when the original labor was completed. When I brought it back I was told, "Oh, okay, leave it with us and we will finish it today ( I was not told then that there would be a secondary charge )." When I arrived to pick up the car I was asked to pay an extra $ 250.00 dollars for roughly 4 hours of labor, for work that should have been done correctly to begin with. I wrote a check because I did not want to get into an argument and the owner kept saying, "isn't that fair, isn't that fair?" After the fact, I have spoken to an independent shop and a dealership who both stated that they would have stood by their work and not charged the customer a second time. I am writing this as honestly as possible and letting Granada Hills and Northridge community consumers know, buyer beware. I guess that extra $ 250.00 will help keep your exotic car collection going strong but you lost a customer. Money itself is not corrupt, it is the love of money that corrupts.

I took my 750i to Bob after getting a misdiagnosis from another shop which I felt was incorrect. Bob did a thorough exam and gave me a much more realistic opinion. He did the work and the car is like a new car now. He is meticulous and even had the car waiting washed and shiny! It's so hard to find an honest dependable technician who knows their stuff. Bob will be the only person to touch my cars. And his prices surprised me in a good way!

We recently took our older '87 Benz to Knollwood Motors. The motor was running badly and the car was running hot. Bob at Knollwood is a master Benz mechanic. He got our car running like it was when it was new. Even though repairs are costly one feels satisfied when repair is so good. We have used Knollwood Motors for repairs since we got our Benz.
