Dear Ralph's Corporate Office, On 11/02/2023, around 7:45 PM at the 16940 Devonshire St. location, I was a witness to an alarming incident. At cashier station CHEC 504, a manager, Jennifer--described as a large-framed, possibly Hispanic woman with light skin--was openly chastising a colleague. This young man, tall with darker skin and a ponytail (his name possibly starting with a 'T'), was subjected to a demeaning public reprimand. Caught in this unsettling scene, even my simple request for bags was overshadowed by Jennifer's glaring lack of decorum and sense of authority run amok. When I approached her, suggesting such discussions be held privately, she responded dismissively, saying, "well, I don't have an office, do I?" and continued to belittle this employee in public. This encounter has made me question the professional standards upheld at Ralph's. The fact that I must urge Ralph's to offer comprehensive training to its managers, emphasizing empathy, effective communication, and conflict resolution, is deeply concerning. This incident, left unchecked, reflects poorly on Ralph's reputation and values. Please understand the gravity of this situation. As someone who ardently opposes power misused, I will not stay silent. My planned actions include: * Lodging a complaint with the Better Business Bureau (BBB). * Sharing my experience on social media. * Reaching out to regional representatives about this disturbing behavior. It's imperative for Ralph's to respond proactively. Actions like Jennifer's not only mistreat employees but also jeopardize the trust of patrons like me. I hope to hear about the steps you intend to take soon. Regards, entry ID 70360213147044504635

Forced to use self checkout yet again. I have been using Instacart since my last rant/review for this very reason. The $10 is worth my time, frustration and physical pain. Self checkout was packed. People on top of each other. I'm masked up but still the carts are huge and being disabled it's beyond aggravating to maneuver this inefficient space. Bring grocers and cashiers back. This new system is not any savings to the consumer whatsoever so give folks their jobs back if you want happy neighborhood customers.

I usually have a good experience at Ralph's but this time was mediocre. I feel like they're always understaffed. My biggest complaint is the deli department. No one is there, ever.

I have always like this Ralphs location in the past. Its not in one of the best neighborhoods of North hills. I stopped in here during the holidays and the place was not so packed. Tight security hang out here and the parking lot is pretty scary at night. Good customer service here. Store is not so big, But everything is organized good. Store has a funny sewer smell outside of it sometimes. But its not so bad.

I recently tried the pick up ordering service at Ralphs, and I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised. Instead of fighting the crowds and navigating the aisles, I was able to order my groceries from the comfort of my couch and have them ready for pick up when I arrived at the store. The online ordering process was a breeze, and I was able to find everything I needed without the hassle of searching the shelves. And when I arrived at the store, my groceries were already bagged and waiting for me. It was like having my own personal shopper!Overall, I highly recommend the pick up ordering service at Ralphs. It's convenient, easy.

Last night I went to the grocery store and the cashier named Dorothy S. Was so friendly and so thoughtful when I left I felt really good about coming there. I purchase some wipes in a large box And when Dorothy was ringing me up I noticed a box was opened she kindly made arrangements to have the box taped up so I wouldn't drop all the packages wipes out the box also she was very funny and friendly she deserves five stars.

I was charged twice for one large package of toilet paper costing $26.99. I caught the mistake and had a clerk refund the difference. When I got home I checked the receipt again and discovered the refund was wrong and had to return back to store. They issued me another refund but didn't seem to care about the inconvenience put upon me for their error. I could've been overcharged almost $30 for groceries which are already expensive. Check your receipts.

I'm going to leave a negative review for each day I'm home with a fever because I chose to buy groceries here. I'm not going to parties or bars or non essential stores. There is no excuse for me to become seriously ill smply because i was thinking about what to have for dinner instead of figuring out how to open the freezer without contaminating myself. Nobody should have to lie in bed with a everlasting migrane headache from hell and be too weak to even feed your pets. There are some people that covid affects worse than others. There are some people that don't have anyone to look after them or even bring them a cup of tea should they become ill. I got sick because I visited Ralphs. I believe I can even prove that Ralphs was the only place i visited. Ralphs is not helping enough to protect their customers that Have to buy provisions. I have being forced to touch credit card pads tha have been touched all day by people before me. I never see this or anything being wiped down. I feel badly betrayed by Ralphs. they hurt my health and wronged me financially.

If you like dog parks, this is the place to go. Almost EVERYTIME i go to this store there is AT LEAST one(1) dog there. Not service dogs, just inconsiderate pet owners, and the Management does NOTHING about it....STAY AWAY !!!!!

Literally had to throw away over half of the strawberries you charged me full price for because your staff is too incompetent and inept to not allow rotten food to get sold.

I always go to this Ralph's as it is very closed to my house. I usually use the self serve check out, but today I decided to stay in line to pay with the cashier because too many heavy things in my cart. The man that rang me up named NORMAN is very rude. I noticed him being rude with the customer in front of me when he was ringing him up. The man politely asked if he can just ring up one can of the Gatorade, times 8, because there's so many to take out of the cart to place on the counter and Norman rudely say NO! he can't do that. When it was my turn to pay, I politely asked NORMAN (cashier) if he can let me know if the chips (Doritos) are ringing up $1.99 each if I buy 4?. I wasn't even finish with my sentence and he cut me off and saying very rudely that I HAVE TO WAIT!!!. Wow!!! this kind of people shouldn't be working in this industry if they'll be very rude to customers. This is not the way to treat people especially when we spend money. Beware of NORMAN.
