I miss the $.99 store but dollar tree can fill some of that void

I frequent the Grand Terrace dollar tree & have always had a good experience until now! last night I bought a large Mylar number 7 balloon to use at a group 70’s get together today. I had the Baloon in a cool room with nothing around it, on a balloon holder & then at midnight I heard a loud pop! My # 7 popped so now I only have a large 0. I called this morning to dollar tree & spoke to the clerk who listened to my complaint & then asked the manager who told the clerk, No we cannot replace it, once the ballon leaves the store we are not responsible’ I asked if this could be the one time replacement &’again she answered no! I’m so upset because now I only have a large zero! I told her i paid $5 for this large balloon & it sucks! I’m so upset & will not shop at that particular dollar tree again! So unfair just letting others know! Uggg

Showed up at 9:20 and they were closed. But are supposed to be open until 10pm . Absurd.

This location is one of my favorites, always clean! My son is in a wheelchair and I never have issues going up and down the isles, keep up the good work!

I would like to give a huge shout out to the manager Miriam at Dollar Tree in Grand Terrace. I usually avoid coming here because of my previous experiences. However this morning I came in (02/05/24 ) and was so impressed I did not think I was in the same store. The organization and cleanliness this store had was amazing. Every one of their workers was working hard stacking shelves and putting things away. The store was so clean and organized I had to acknowledge the staff to the store manager Miriam. I learned that she is the new store manager and you can actually see such a difference in the store itself. I would like to give them a five-star review as it is more than deserved. Thank you Miriam for making Dollar tree a pleasant experience. I will continue coming back

As Dollar Trees go, they're rather hit and miss. Not this one! They're always stocked and in good order. Some of the staff could use some hospitality training, but the others make up for it.

I like that everything is $1.25. I can budget my visits. There is a lot of seasonal stuff year round. I really like the cat & dog toys, bowls, leashes, clean-up bags, etc. section. It usually is near the tools, cellphone chargers, lightbulbs, and DVDs section. There is a whole aisle dedicated to candy soda pop, and other snacks, so that is cool for movie nights.
