“At 1 am we had to make the hardest decision, as a pet owner we ever had to make. We knew it was time to take our precious dog in, because we could not let him suffer and wait until the morning for his normal vet to open. We called around and decided to go here. Everyone at this place was great. Our dog could not walk and they brought out a stretcher to wheel him in. Everything was explained to us, step by step on what would happened and we were told we could take as much time as needed to say goodbye. We were taken a beautiful room with nice decor and dim lights. It just made it seem more like home instead of a cold examination room. When they brought out our dog he was still on the stretcher but had been placed over a nice blanket and he had a blanket on him. We took our time saying our goodbyes and no one rushed us. Even the vet talked to him and reassured us for various reasons we already knew we were making the right decision. Obviously, we left heartbroken but happy that the staff was so caring. Two weeks later we received this hand written card from the staff with his name inside. It just a small little token that made our experience here a great one.”

“My Boerboel had a hematoma on the flappy part of his ear that needed draining. He’s a big boy that needs to be sedated before appointments. The staff was VERY patient with us during his exam as he doesn’t let strangers touch him. He needed surgery the following day. The anesthesiologist was very careful administering his medication. It took a few tries but he was asleep within 10 mins. Surgery took a couple of hours. We’ve been getting follow-up calls from RAH for the past week just to check in on him. I really appreciate that! All that to say the staff is very patient, compassionate and kind. Your animals care is a priority here. All of my puppies will be coming here as long as I have them. 🥰”

“Alapalm is amazing! All of the staff is extremely caring! They got my kitty girl in quick for a leg amputation due to cancer and she is doing amazing already! The sutures are inside so we dont have to go back to get them removed and the incision sight looks amazing and shes healing so well!! She's already walking by herself and was trying to 3 hours after she got home. Thank you alapalm for saving my baby girls life and giving me more time with her. 10/10 I will reccomend everyone I know to come here if you want your baby taken care of 🫶🏼💜”

“We had such a great experience at Community Animal Hospital. Kim, Priscilla, and Dr. Ahi were all so kind and accommodating, and the whole visit was very easy and stress-free. Dr. Ahi was especially patient and kind. He really took his time with us, listened to our concerns, and explained everything in a way that was easy to understand. I also really appreciated how honest and transparent everyone was, especially since we were dealing with a more complicated situation with Kanoa. It meant a lot to feel like we could actually trust the people taking care of her. We never felt rushed or pressured, and everyone was genuinely caring and helpful. “We saw Dr. Dusenberry and Dr. Blanchard on two separate visits. Both were knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and showed genuine care for our 8 year old dog. I appreciated being able to talk about the treatment plan particularly what we needed didn’t need and why. On top of that, the staff were responsive and helpful when I needed to ask for his vaccination record and clarification with his flea medication. Highly recommend. “I don’t think there are enough words in this world to describe all that this vet has done for me & all my babies. I have been going to this vet for years. My baby Milo, was treated so sweetly & cared for every time he was brought in. When he had an ulcer in his eye, they recommended a specialist in Ontario & fortunately he was able to get the surgery and was on the mend. When we got our other dogs, we would take them here for his check ups & their vaccinations. Then when my baby Milo was growing old, he had quite a bit of health issues that were unfortunately too expensive to afford. The doctors & staff were very empathetic and very kind to me during the heavier moments. They explained everything in great detail and gave us as much time as we needed to say goodbye. My heart still hurts and I will never be the same without my baby, but can be content that we (and the staff) did all they could do for him. I’m forever grateful for the people employed here, and will continue to bring my babies here, knowing that they will provide the level of care that any pet deserves. Thank you all for being so exceptionally kind. My Milo lives on within me”
