Country Gables Shopping Center is currently undergoing extensive renovations, which can make access challenging. Many stores are empty, but the shopping center still offers a good variety of shops and restaurants, including a large Raley's supermarket that is well stocked and very clean. Some popular eateries like Granite Bay Chinese and Beach Hut Deli are there, but the addition of a food court may hurt these small businesses. Overall, the center looks nice and modern, though some feel the upgrades lack uniqueness and have not brought in new businesses as hoped. Once construction is finished, it is expected to be a better shopping destination.
