Designs With You in Mind, Inc. is a full-service interior design studio based in Granite Bay, CA, dedicated to transforming homes into beautiful, functional spaces. Their services include home remodels, kitchen and bathroom designs, space planning, furnishings, outdoor living, and refreshing existing spaces. The team works closely with trusted local vendors and craftsmen to ensure high-quality results, guiding clients through every step of the design process while making sure their vision is realized. Client involvement from start to finish is highly valued, resulting in personalized spaces that reflect individual tastes and needs. Many reviews highlight the studio’s ability to breathe new life into dated or dark homes. For example, one client wanted to update their 1999 Tuscan-style home, which felt heavy and closed off. Cathy Tonks understood the goals immediately, reimagining the layout to create an open, functional, and welcoming kitchen with a single spacious island. Bold choices, like a blue-grey island and patterned wallpaper, added personality and warmth, transforming the space into the home’s heart. The final result exceeded expectations, with beautiful craftsmanship and thoughtful details that improved daily life, such as better flow and storage solutions. Another client praised Cathy’s skill in addressing specific concerns with their kitchen refresh and entertainment center renovation, creating a cohesive, modern look with improved functionality. The team’s professionalism and collaborative approach made the process smooth and enjoyable. A third client appreciated the creative transformation of their 30-year-old great room, which was turned into a modern, artful space with a new fireplace, TV wall, shelving, and a full bar. Overall, Designs With You in Mind ensures quality, creativity, and personalized service, making it a trusted choice for home renovations and interior design.
