People need to be aware of the the spay and neuter process. You drive into their parking lot, and wait for their doors to open. Cat or dog, everyone in the parking lot gathers inside for information, we all get clipboards, then get sent back to our cars. They then take the info we gave, and our pets. 5 hours later we all show up to pick up our animals at once. No lines, no take a number, just herded like cattle. It's a low cost clinic. Put 2 and 2 together. Rushed, unorganized, and no privacy between reception (some people had to pay by card over the phone prior to appointment, others got different treatment). Even using Sammie's Friends for my older cat, there was more privacy, more one on one interaction, no unnecessary info because you're here for cats but some of the group have dogs. It was just a very weird experience overall. I give two stars, because my cat was successfully spayed, and they got back to me relatively quickly as far as even getting the appointment. My cat is still coughing 5 days later from her breathing tube. I'm glad they sedate and everything, but if they weren't all treated in a group and rushed through, maybe less complications would occur.I'm sure the staff are very nice and try their best, but the experience was just unsettling. Low cost didn't used to mean bulk service.

I took in 3 cats that were dumped at the bottom of my driveway, so I called Animal Save to get them fixed. I am only able to bring in one cat at a time. I was refused service unless I scheduled all 3 at the same time, which I could not afford. I was told they would be wasting their resources on me. Extremely disappointed in this establishment.

Animal Save has been so helpful to me with my feral cat problem. Help trapping and neutering and advice about raising orphan kittens. A super place.

Everyone is very helpful and attentive to our fur babies. Prices are great. Their in-house cats are just awesome and they all have curled ears. We recommend them.

Absolutely excellent job with the stray cat we found that needed spaying. Wonderful care. So helpful with the low cost (as we have been inundated for months now with vet costs for our other cat and dog's illnesses). This has been so helpful and now we have a "new" cat to join the family. They also included her first FVRCP vaccination which was wonderful as well.

Thank you for serving our community and taking responsibility to provide a much needed service to our furry friends through this organization. I love your affiliated bookstore and thrift shop, as well as visiting the cat room. Our kitten is healing beautifully.

Sign out front says voted Best Thrift Store but in my experience, there are better local thrift stores. Very limited on kids clothes and clothes in general. If your looking for nick nacks and pet stuff,it's the place. You MUST wear a mask or you will not be allowed to shop. And u can bring your dog inside vs hot car which is good!

No-Kill shelter with a variety of different cats. Cats have a big area with plenty of light to be and play around in too. Staff was very professional.

Am I understanding this right....Animal Save will not help with the cost of neutering a dog that weighs over 50 pounds?

I made an appointment there to get my cats spayed. One of the cats had a pre-existing hernia that another vet said was in an easy to access location during the spay. When I called and asked animalsave if they could take care of it I gave them the details and they still said they wouldn't do it because they didn't know exactly where the hernia was at. So, knowing she had a fixable problem, they still ignored it and did the bare minimum. They also told us no refunds and if we don't call a day before the appointment they will assume we aren't coming and cancel our spot. They obviously want the money more than they want to help. And now I'm 80 bucks down, and still have to put my cat under for another surgery to deal with a problem they easily could have fixed for me. I understand being a busy establishment. I don't understand the complete lack of care or ability on their end. If you don't actually want to save animals pick a different name. And the customer service over the phone was obviously terrible.
