Pricing is too high for anything of remote value. Disappointing selection, no dressing rooms, too expensive for anything that isn't s step away from garbage.

The donation area needs better workers. I brought in a slightly used, flaking paint leather chair in good condition and they called it damaged. So I took it to the dump. I've purchased furniture in worse condition from the same location. Public beware, goodwill wants NEW donations! I won't be donating to this location (Grass Valley CA) again!
The worker shook her head when she saw the chair. Lazy! Arrogant! Next time I get that reaction, I'm talking to the supervisor and probably having the worker fired! Then I'm calling corporate!

They demolished their dressing rooms so that customers can no longer try on clothing. Goodwill charges way too much for me to gamble my money/time spent in their store. If customers could receive refunds I might shop here again, but only being eligible for store credit that forces you into an exhausting loop of buying clothes you have no idea whether they fit or not and returning them for more store credit is absolutely ridiculous.

Employees are awesome, selection is lacking. $10 for a pair of pants with a big hole in the crotch and they stopped doing returns 🤣 shop local

I just want to say what a Great job the staff at Goodwill handle donations. I am always amazed how difficult most organizations make the process, with limited days and small windows of opportunity. Goodwill Grass Valley donations are open all day, and the staff is fast, friendly, efficient, and appreciative. They really do a great job 😊

Been there only twice, and both times bought nothing. Prices were higher than most thrift stores, and couldn’t try on anything.

Awful place! I recently walked out of this Goodwill because they don’t allow you to use the fitting rooms anymore. I only came here to get jeans for work, which you need a fitting room for. Also there were the policy notices on the door that says you have a very short amount of time to return items (7 days with receipt) and it wasn’t totally clear if you got money back, seems vague like you might only get store credit. Not giving customers fitting rooms gives off the vibe that they care too much about stealing instead of providing a genuine business or goodwill for a community. Go to Sammie’s Friends thrift store instead, the proceeds go to the only NO-KILL shelter in the area! Goodwill is a for-profit business! They are not a local business! Stop supporting them!

I went in today to hopefully buy several slacks and jeans. I had picked out 8 and discovered all the changing rooms are closed. An employee told me I could try clothes on over my clothes. That's not how clothes fit. I was told I could bring them back if they didn't work out. WT? Tell me this, if I keep underpants on, may I try the pants right there in the aisle?
