I've been going for two weeks now and just wanted to share this:So far, I feel the coaches and program have been the best thing I've done for myself in the last ten years. It's always changing, my mind doesn't have time to be idle. Also, I'm not bored. It's completely informative, entertaining (if you're in my head!) and most of all, safe. This CrossFit community feels like a welcome mat with fresh grass instead of plastic pokey nubs. I have been sore but not overly so, if my heart could keep up with the physicalities, I'd probably be MUCH sore. But I like baby steps, that's how my body ROLLLLLS. Like I said, my body feels already 100 % better all around.They are phenomenal at reaching out during sessions and keeping me on track with the correct body mechanics. The coaches are Never rushing or forceful. They are all patient with me and I feel like I can go at my own pace . My husband has gone for almost 8 months and he's lost 50 lbs while doing 3x/weekly. If I can do this, so can you.UPDATE: 11 classes in - I still feel the same way!

I was skeptical about doing CrossFit, but I am so glad I started! I can feel a big change in my overall fitness and strength.I have joint challenges, particularly in my wrists and shoulders. However, since joining, I've noticed significant improvement. The new muscles I've been building are providing better support to those problem areas.The 7 AM class is an awesome bunch. It's a friendly and supportive group which makes doing hard stuff fun.Regarding the coaches, I've mainly worked with Brandon and Zach. Brandon's expertise in kinesiology is evident and his years of experience make his coaching next level. It's great to learn from someone who's been through it all!Zach is amazing too. He explains and demonstrates the exercises clearly, and I appreciate the scientific explanations he adds to the training. Both he & Brandon are always willing to tweak a workout for my needs. This is key with CrossFit!This gym is a standout. The positive changes in my fitness, the friendly atmosphere, as well as the clean and spacious location make it an experience I look forward to everytime.

I joined the GV CrossFit family 5 months ago. At the time, I was in a bad place physically and emotionally after my daughter was abused in her daycare. The people and the workouts have been better than any therapy I have paid for! Coach Brandon has worked with me through some old college softball injuries and my mental health has improved tremendously. Honestly, I always thought I was too overweight to do CrossFit, but the workouts can be modified for anyone and the people are so supportive. If I can do it, so can you! If you’re reading this, I hope I see you at the gym!

I’m in my mid 50s and have gained a great deal of strength, flexibility, and stability ever since I joined. As a direct result of my training, I am able to keep up with and surpass people much younger than I am whether it be hiking, doing yard work, or playing athletic games. Grass Valley CrossFit has enthusiastic coaches who motivate, encourage, and teach. My favorite part is the wonderful community that is found at each and every class. Everyone is so supportive, welcoming, and we all cheer each other on to do our best. I look forward to my time with my gym family. Don’t hesitate to give Grass Valley CrossFit a try. You won’t regret it!

I've been working out here for the past 4 years and it's been the most supportive community. The coaches are very attentive and are patient. I would recommend it to anyone. Whether you have never worked out before and to people who are looking for a new gym. 10/10

Grass Valley CrossFit is awesome! The staff/coaches are super knowledgeable and welcoming. I’ve definitely learned a lot from my time there (different workouts, lifts, diet, encourage others) that have stuck with me to this day. Classes are fun and engaging. I would highly recommend Grass Valley CrossFit for an all-around outstanding gym experience, whether you’re new to working or not.

Grass Valley CrossFit has changed my life and mindset. I am more confident in many areas of my life and realize how much strength I have to do hard things. I am encouraged by my growth week by week and have found a fun and encouraging group of people. I have never felt pressured to do more than I am comfortable with and the coaches are there to help you accomplish your individual goals. I started with the introduction classes because CrossFit seemed overwhelming and scary to me at first. That was the perfect in I needed to get my feet wet and move forward and now I look forward to every class.

Grass Valley CrossFit is an awesome workout environment that welcomes everyone in a kind non-judgemental manner! Brandon and Zack are both super knowledgeable and take the time to make sure each athlete has proper form before lifting having weights. GVCF is hands down one of the best gyms I’ve trained at. The coaches are a wealth of knowledge, engaging and personable. The atmosphere is one of encouragement and the members are welcoming. I highly recommend anyone from any fitness level to come check it out, you won’t regret it.

I highly recommend this gym !! Coaches are very nice with their unique personalities they deliver the workout in a clear way and help you move properly trough it.I started my CrossFit journey 3 years ago and it has been a very important part of my life in general but specifically as a dancer to keep my body strong and have endurance during my dance performances. It also gives me a lot of energy throughout the day and helps my mind to stay focus to get things done !!I love it !! Definitely a life changing experience!!
