The manager here, Taylor, is very friendly and accommodating. He is always kind and understanding no matter the circumstance.
Also, this place is super nice and well kept, hidden back off the main roads. Office is nearly spotless.

This storage facility is clean and well-maintained, but the frequent rent increases are not sustainable. We had to move our stuff out and find a new facility to rent from after getting priced out.

Grass Valley Self Storage provided a safe and clean environment for my belongings for the year that I rented a storage unit there. The Management was very helpful whenever I had a question or concern. I would have given them a five star rating, however, I vacated my unit several days ago, on August 10, 2025, and was charged the entire month of August. I followed my contract’s directions on canceling my unit (as best as I could decipher it) by giving a written notice and should have been charged $40 for my eight days in August. However, I was charged the full monthly fee of $155. I was also told, when I initially rented the unit, that when I vacated the unit the last month would be prorated. Storage Pros did not honor what was verbally said to me and my written contract.

Fine storage solution. Those steep driveways may appear extreme but driving up and down many dozens times I was amazed how easily maneuverable they actually are, always keeping my vehicle straight upright. Pavers did way better than meets the eye. Optical illusion, or what.

The storage units themselves were just fine. However if you are using a trailer it can be a little tough due to the hills so make sure you check the access to the unit you are considering.
