I disagree I think they're bad business. They gave me a quote for work to be done on my vehicle I got a quote $300 less he dropped his quote a hundred and fifty bucks did the work contacted me told me that things weren't what they were supposed to be. At the end it ended up costing me exactly if not more than what he originally gave me a quote for. Very unhappy with my service there will not be coming back

A last minute smog inspection was neededto register my car at the DMV same day. David, the man behind the desk at PSB, was friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, prompt, & hospitable — and recommended a few options nearby to kill the time while the inspection was completed (I had good coffee next door Sierra Mountain). There’s a bike shop, garden supply/nursery, and The Tool Shed nearby too. Or you can sit at their patio table in the shade under a nice tree. And the DMV is super close. They sell used cars too, and I’m considering a test drive on a ride..

Steven, the mechanic, is awesome and super friendly and personable. He keeps you informed of your wait time and regularly updates you on your vehicle's progress. I will definitely bring my vehicles to PSB again.

I don't know how a past review I made of this business was removed, but I can rewrite it to inform neighbors to avoid it! Over the phone, Patrick assured me that they know diesel trucks. Nonetheless, when dropping it off for a fuel pump to be replaced, I explained that our Chevy 3500 truck needed ( I think it was glow plugs) to be plugged in to start. Many days later, I called to check on the truck, and was told the fuel pump was replaced, but it needed a starter and a fly wheel (!) and maybe other parts. Patrick offerred to buy the box truck for $500. When I came with a tow truck to take it to a more honest mechanic, the battery was uncharged, but they said they had no extension cord long enough to reach the truck. Then I asked, how had they plugged in the glow plugs to start it? I believe they broke the starter and possibly the flywheel and wanted to charge me for it or sell them the truck. I took the truck to another mechanic who told me they had not replaced the fuel pump I was charged for. Patrick was rude and condescending.

Stay away!!! Beware!! I took my car to Patrick and he put synthetic oil in my car when i specifically asked him to use the oil i provided. His oil caused my car to smoke and am currently talking to the BAR to help me with this situation. Total Nightmare!! Save yourself a headache. I would give him no stars if possible.

I return to PSB often as they have great service and always take care of my vehicle in a timely manner. The staff are friendly and the service has been efficient and at a lower cost then most auto centers in the area.

Completely unprofessional. Do not use this location for UHaul rentals. They have no idea what they are doing and they are unpleasant to deal with.

I tried to return a UHaul trailer to this place. They told me they only had one person who handled rentals and he wasn't there. They could not access the UHaul system to confirm that I returned the trailer. The next day I called and the person who answered the phone (who refused to give his name) was not willing to confirm that I had returned the trailer. I had to call corporate UHaul and have them sort it out.

I completely trust Patrick. He has helped me with regular maintenance, tires, etc for a newer hybrid SUV as well as getting bit more life out of my classic 1997 Land cruiser. He is honest and resourceful. He explains what is going on, what the options are and even when it’s time to bid farewell ( unless you are a mechanic and able to care for aging favorite)!

When you move finding a new GOOD autorepair shop can be very difficult. I was lucky in finding PSB. They have done excellent work on three cars, including our 4runner which developed a leak in one of the transmission units. They even had to have a replacement bearing made to get the car back on the road. I recommend them highly.

Patrick the owner is extremely helpful, conscientious, and explains what steps and repairs are needed. I take all 3 of our vehicles for regular maintenance and repairs to PSB Auto Center. Great service!
