Not only exceptional at restoring a treasured piece. They were patient and understanding when circumstance did not allow me to pick up the piece for several months. Intend to make further use of their talent in the future

What a sight to behold. From the sheer size of the museum from the outside, with it's beautiful facades and sculptures, to its glass pyramids and glass pyramid entrance, to the volumes of beauty, skill, talent, and life's work of the greatest artist this planet has ever seen, makes this one of the most wonderful, wondrous, and breathtaking spectacles to admire and enjoy. Take note that you cannot see it all in a day. At least you cant and actually take the time to appreciate what is contained therein. It is estimated that if you view each piece carefully, with the intent to appreciate the magnificence of each piece, it would take you approximately 120 days to see it all in its glory. We had 1 day for about 4 hours and did not scratch the surface. Words do not suffice to describe what we saw and experienced in just that short time, but my wife and I appreciated the gravity of it all in just a few paintings. I highly recommend this to everyone visiting Paris, even if art isn't your 'thing,' the overwhelming feeling of the lifetimes spent creating such pieces can bring anyone to an awe-struck moment. Don't miss out. Go. Enjoy & take a partner or friend to help keep your jaw off the floor. Btw, we saw the Mona Lisa and it was every bit as enchanting as you can imagine. We will definitely make a day trip to go back and wander through more halls and view more of the beauty this museum holds. Cheers.

Wenter to the Louvre as birthdau present from.friend . A guided tour Was arranged with skip the line tickets . The tour guide was amazing , we met outside the museum with 2 others , she guided us in effortlessly , showed us to the free locker room where you could leave your coat and belongings , which was great and the place was quiet warm. The tour started with a video tour on how the palace as evolved by kings over the several hundreds of years. It was very informative and she could answer all our questions , we were show all the historic points of interest , from the moat to the kings private chambers ....The place was amazing . I would recomend the guided tour as the place is vast and she was able to easy navigate via back stairs , lifts quickly to the major attractions , being the Mona Lisa , Venus d'milo. The tour ended after 2 hrs and we were told we could spend as long as we wanted to there , we were given a comprehensive map of all floors ....did find it a little daunting at the end trying to get to the exit point if the pyramid , but has lots of exhibits of hitorical.interest ! There is also high end shopping mall at the exit ...If your feet can bear it , but well worth the visit

Wow! I was left in awe. Just an absolutely amazing experience. Can get crowded so don't let kids wander off. Let's just say I almost had a heart attack when my 12 y.o. wiggled her way in to get a really good pic of Mona Lisa...she was ushered with everyone who got the pic too to move off to the side and let next crowd do same. In process, she had to go towards an exit. Thankfully, an American family texted us to let us know she was ok. That tells you how crazy crowded the popular artworks are. Beautiful and amazing all day experience for the family!

How I have waited from childhood to see the Mona Lisa having read so much about it well worth the wait I only wish I could get closer to see the details.. .The Louvre what can you say it easy to find by walking or the metro direct to the basement....And the exhibits how could anyone not enjoy not enjoy such amazing artworks and sculptures let alone the wonderful artefacts from all over the world....Just fabulous..... but give your self a really good day to do it some justice and even that will only scratch the surfice I fear....

15 or so yrs ago, I walked into the Louvre and fell in love with a particular artist. Years later, Gordon at the Louvre made it possible to bring that artist into our home. Gordon is honest, generous and a shining example of business humanity (if there is such a thing anymore!) Thank you for your excellent craftsmanship on framing and use of color! And thank you for being one of Grass Valley's shining stars!

The Louvre Gallery in Grass Valley is a real treasure. I have never had a better custom framing experience. Whether it has been original art pieces or the framing of a collection of African jewelry, Gordon has done a masterful job. He has a remarkable artistic sense and a great feel for color, style and scale. I generally just let him decide how to frame a piece, with minimal direction, and I am always delighted. You couldn't find better quality work anywhere. We are fortunate to have such a highly skilled artisan in our community!

They are super knowledgable and do a great job with framing. They'll admit they are a little more expensive than other places but you can't beat the quality and great customer service!
