My husband and I took "Comfort skills for an easier labor" course this past weekend and our instructor Shalin had so many helpful tips for both my husband and I. We left the class feeling more educated and prepared for labor and delivery; especially my husband who learned coping mechanisms to help me power through contractions and pain management. It was a great course with plenty of information that wasn't overwhelming. We appreciated the hands on scenarios and guidance that was offered in this class. Thank you for offering this option to our community.

The Nest is an invaluable resource in our community. I was actually just talking to some friends today that reminded me of how fortunate we were to have not only had the Nest before this pandemic but how lucky we are to have formed so many amazing bonds with other moms in our community during our weekly meetups. The Nest is a place to go with your questions and even your concerns and stressors. I always felt supported and confident that I could share my story and that there were other parents going through the same thing or at least could provide kind words. I took the class on Introducing Foods and found the information provided by the teacher, Katie, very informative and full of options for what my family wanted to implement. My best mama friendships were formed at the Nest. I will be forever grateful.

Every experience I have had at the nest has been a positive one. I have a 3 month old and a 4 year old and whenever I have questions or concerns about my children Katie and the other instructors at the nest have answered them with supportive and up lifting advice. I feel incredibly blessed to have this resource in our community.

Waste of time. I am not sure if the "volunteer"made up info or was out of it. Weirdest "class" I've ever been to and quite a disservice and disappointment. I am not sure who is funding this but the volunteers need more education. It also was dirty and a joke. If you care about your child I would suggest going somewhere where the instructor or in this case "volunteers" have knowledge and dont seem completely stoned.

The nest is an amazing essential recourse in Nevada county. As a midwife in this area I recommend it to my clients each week for prenatal yoga or breastfeeding support and for myself as a mother I go there for pilates classes or toddler get togethers. Katie is always available and willing to help support families in our area and even beyond. And Chelsea's childbirth classes are informative and entertaining I am told!Thank you so much and please come check it out if you haven't already.

We love the Nest, for learning and for teaching. My wife and I took an extremely useful class on parenting toddlers there, taught by Annie Keeling. My assistant and I have taught mom/parent oriented exercise classes there for 3 months. We'll be there for another 3 months, The space is beautiful, welcoming and tranquil.

I recently visited The Nest to familiarize myself with the resources available to pregnant and breastfeeding women in the area. The owner, Katie, was warm and welcoming and took the time to explain the services offered and showed me around. The classes and practitioners available to women and families are extensive and professional, as well as receptive and friendly.
