“I really enjoy this place. Prices are fair and exactly what you expect from a thrift store. A little cramped since it's a small space, but plenty of opportunity to find a hidden treasure!”
“It's a pleasure to visit the store: kind and helpful staff and volunteers, a very organized and pleasing arrangement and display of items, and I find, good prices on clothes and especially furniture.”
“I love this place so much. I just got pretty much everything I needed for my wood burning stove area, flue pipes, tiles and so much more. If you've got home projects or just want new dishes or furniture, you can come here! They have great sales every month!”
“I just want to say what a Great job the staff at Goodwill handle donations. I am always amazed how difficult most organizations make the process, with limited days and small windows of opportunity. Goodwill Grass Valley donations are open all day, and the staff is fast, friendly, efficient, and appreciative. They really do a great job ?”
“This is a really cool thrift store. I always find something good. The staff does a great job at picking unique items as well as normal everyday stuff. They and they are quick to help or chat with you. Petting Aurora the cat is a highlight too.”
“If your kids go to Grass Valley Charter or if you just are in the neighborhood, stopping by the thrift shop, Cancer aid is a must! Besides Sammy’s friends and the Goodwill up in Grass Valley this store is one of my favorites and always has been!
My favorite section is the shoes of the ramp. They have fantastic deals on really good quality footwear.
Also, there is a great children’s section off to the left towards the back of the store and even better than the children’s section is the men’s section which always has something for someone!
Highly recommend if you are in Nevada County this is your store. It is also really cool because it’s on the corner and it’s in a historic stucco building. That is really unique. It’s an experience that is for sure plus sometimes you can even meet some cool alternative Nevada county folks that are always ready to talk about the history of this fantastic town.”
