I went into the Grass Valley PO today to pick up mail that we held for many weeks. While I was waiting, I witnessed friendly, prompt service to many customers. The staff was respectful and efficient. Excellent customer service!!

This place is so incompetent, my toddler can deliver better than these people. Worst USPS. Avoid at all costs if possible!

The circular phone menu system in mind killing. What happened to simply leaving a message for our local post master?

USPS driver doesn't even deliver to our house. Makes up excuses for why he won't deliver to our address. Some skinny crack head looking white guy. It's clear he wants to do the bare minimum, all though not delivering to our house is just not doing the job he was hired to do. Whoever it is that does the delivery for wolf rd needs to be fired, I know of plenty of people who would be willing to work for USPS that would have wayyyy better work ethics. Can't believe the postal office is willing to offer this fool a 401k and all the benefits that IM paying for. Being a government worker and all, it's my money and everyone else that actually works that is supplying his income. Gonna start a petition very soon with my neighbors and others in the GV area to have this "mailman" fired!

I live on Wolf Meadows drive in grass valley. I have a shared mailbox with other residents on the street. We have our own individual mailboxes as well as parcel lockers. We live less than half a mile away from the mailbox, specifically .45 miles. The usual person delivers the mail. I'm not sure of the guys name, but he will not deliver mail to the house. His excuse ranges from We live .5 a mile away to there is a crippled dog on our driveway. So I measured how far away we are, and it's .45 miles. I also started to put our 11 yo crippled dog in the house from 7am- noon. Mail gets delivered around 930am. Well one day I scheduled the delivery with usps and placed in the notes that the dog will be put away and that I will meet the mail child at the mailboxes. So I did, I met him at the mailboxes. I asked him if he has our packages so I can take them to the house, and his excuse was that there is a dog in the driveway. I told him that there isn't a dog in the driveway and he's put away. So then he said we'll it's more than half a mile away. I know that isn't true. So I asked him if he even picked the packages up at all and if he has them in the truck, so that I can take them. He said no! He didn't even try. I've spoken with neighbors and they have the same problem with this guy. I'm sick of it. This guy needs to be fired, find another job or start doing his job. People order things to be delivered for many reason. Maybe they chose delivery because they don't have a car or are disabled. Either way, people pay for delivery, so it defeats the purpose for me and everyone else to drive 15 minutes to the post office and 15 minutes back for a package that should have been delivered in the first place. I'll be contacting higher ups, easy to find with Google. This is unacceptable. It's clear he wants to do the bare minimum and chose this job so he didn't have to do much. Who knows. Either way, I WILL GET TO THE BOTTOM OF THIS. I HAVE THE TIME!

Almost impossible to get someone on the line and when you do they are the most rude people I have dealt with. Going in no better. Makes DMV seem like a cake walk.

Pack your patience and be ready for a long line. The staff is usually friendly, but they are terribly under-staffed. Once I get to the counter, the personal process is usually swift.

Lazy, don't want to work Saturdays, never meet the estimated delivery time etc. Never use them if you have the option just go with UPS even if it's more

This review is for the window clerks at the main post office downtown. They are all GREAT. Polite helpful and they don't get flustered when the line goes out to the door. Not sure everyone knows this, that Amazon shipping and deliveries have totally changed their world. Any monies that the Post Office makes from Amazon is certainly not shared with window clerks and carriers. Did anyone notice that the Post Office has been trying to hire people like forever. Thankless job filled with crazy people and crazy dogs. If everyone hate the post office so much, posting on Yelp won't help. It's not like rating a restaurant. Next time you need Postal Service try the " other " Post Office or call your Congressman or Senator.

This office does not deserve 1 star. I have not received my mail in over a week, even though I can see it on informed delivery! They Grass Valley post office can not provide any information at all. This place constantly loses packages or gives them to the wrong address, this happens weekly. Who ever is running this office needs to be relieved immediately!
