They throw packages around in the back and typically only have one person working the counter. Terribly managed

5 stars for this visit ONLY. An employee named Brian helped me today and he was kind, helpful, and fast. I haven’t been treated this well here in so long I don’t remember because I will do anything to avoid visiting this PO. I am normally met with impatience, eye rolling, and condescension. Why not have this guy do the training!? Thank you for being a positive addition to my day.

Get ready for some serious nonsense with this post office. They'll tell you the computers.are slow, but when you look at the computer, the Ethernet cable is hanging by a thread. They like to talk as well, not the kind of, I work & talk talk. The kind of l, we talk & I don't work at all, kind of talk. The delivery people are 50/50. Some are nice & friendly, others drive & deliver your packages with a scowl. Then to top it all off, they will send you false messages about how delivery was attempted but impossible, when in reality, they just can't fit the packages in their tiny little trucks. If you paid extra for expedited shipping get ready to be let down. Overall, it's the postal service & we all know it's only gonna get worse from here....

The worst experience I have ever had they've now sent my federal paperwork from the irs, housing aid paperwork from public housing authority ,a cashier's check and multiple debit cards return to sender not at this address, twice now within 3 mo. even after verification through the USPS website, informed delivery registration, lease agreement, and change of address forms... This is absolutely targeted discrimination against anyone being at this address, in order to further the road coalition and county administrator in their pursuit to have a legitimate will from an ex-police officer thrown out and his health care provider accused a wrongful death , to facilitate a probate take over the property. I have shown that me a legitimately told them I am a blind disabled individual and have even obtained funding through habitat for humanity for my first and security deposit I have been here since late February with no mail and no cooperation only targeted elitist discrimination as well as negligence, favoritism, intolerance, inception as well as ignoring their own protocol. They legally have no right to insert themselves within this civil matter that has already been in front of the judge twice even though there is a will and written will in place was an able-bodied executor that was named in the will as having authority before or after that person was approved. This is a blatant abuse of power an authority by both the postal workers in Grass Valley and the Nevada county sheriff's department

OUR BUSINESS OPENS 5AM TO 11PM EVERYDAY. I HAVE NO PROBLEM GETTING PACKAGE VIA FEDEX,AMAZON, UPS AND OTHER COURIER. BUT UNFORTUNATELY, USPS KEEPS SENDING OUR PACKAGE BACK TO SENDER AND WE NEVER EVER RECEIVE OUR PACKAGE EVEN AFER MULTIPLE ATTEMPTS. AND YES WE DO PROVIDE SAME ADDRESS TO ALL COURIER BUT USPS HAS PROBLEMS DELIVERING EVEN IF ITS A ENVELOPE. WHEN WE TRACK MY PACKAGE, REASON SAYS VACANT? WE HAVE GOT 3 BUSINESS LOCATION BUT STILL SAME ISSUE. EACH ADDRESS SAYS PLEASE GIVE PACKAGE TO INSIDE STORE CLERK. (WITH STORE NAME).

Terrible. They routinely put packages in the wrong parcel locker in my neighborhood. On multiple occasions I've driven and hand delivered packages of other's that were left in my mailbox. My last straw with them is both my daughter's birthday presents marked as delivered in a parcel locker and nothing's there. It seems like they don't even try or care.

Horrible place with poor management across the board. They never do anything about the carriers and never help the front counter. They sit in their office gossipping like highschooler. It's sad, and I hope this place gets shutdown with the new plan for the post office.

For such a small town and awkwardly placed post office, I have never once had a problem here.
It is always busy and the guys behind the counter check in with the line and communicate well to keep things moving. They are quick and efficient and helpful as well. These guys are not only flexible but calm and respectful as well.
If ever there was a problem, it was customer based and the staff handled it well.
In a world where people seem to care little, it is lovely to see such customer service.
Good Job Grass Valley postal employees!

Mail carrier had the nerve to try and drop my package at the end of my driveway, in a rural area where items are regularly stolen.
Upon getting caught by me being in my driveway after dropping (throwing) it, then not getting out of the van to toss it up to our retaining wall, I was told that her van couldn't make it up our steep driveway- utter nonsense given my other two carriers can do their job effectively and without excuses. They have the same van mind you......
Truly baffles me this carrier has a job out here and fails to even bother to get out of the van to bring things to a safe location as my other carriers have for over 10 years in this house.
Not going to wait 30+ minutes on the phone for a complaint department that won't care in the end- watch out for miss pigtails if you live in south county!

I mostly use this post office to mail items I sold on eBay. The mountain of packages is huge! The post office has adapted to online selling, I normally just run in and drop the package on the counter with the others. I also use the drive through mailbox for letters and bubble envelopes, it gets sorted after 5:00. If I need help I go through the line, seems slow by comparison. They’re very helpful, and they have lots of people working in back compared to 30 years ago. The facility is old, otherwise I’d give it 5 stars.

The Brewer Rd Route has the worst delivery service, if it’s a large package they will say my mailbox is full or leave the package in the middle of the driveway.
