“I am very grateful to Rick Petteford for making the Peter Voulkos low bowl available for me and my Vasefinder Ceramic Art Museum in Carson City, Nevada USA. He is very diligent about what he does and it is appreciated as I am the same. Gracias!!”
“Fantastic art gallery and collection of artist studios, along with vintage furniture and art for sale. I used to live in the area and appreciated being able to read the articles about the sale and conversion of the site from the old chicken processing plant to the new art studios. I also saw many art pieces for sale that made me imagine myself in the future, with more disposable income, and buying art to display in my home. I was particularly impressed by some of the paintings, and it was really fun to look at the old cars.”
“For many years, I have had the pleasure of shopping at Janakos and Company. Each visit has been an absolute delight. Craig and Carl have an exquisite eye for design and a remarkable talent for curating a collection of unique and beautiful items. Their store is a treasure trove of one-of-a-kind pieces that are sure to add a touch of charm and personality to any home. They clearly have a love and passion for all they curate, and are always willing to take time to share their knowledge. In a world where mass-produced goods often dominate the market, Janakos and Co stands out as a shining example of a small business that truly cares about its customers and the products it sells.”
“Nice little antique shop we have been visiting for years. The previous owner has passed away and the new owners have really cleaned the place up and the old people smell is gone. They refurbish cast irons pots pans and grills and have some really nice stuff if you are looking to upgrade your cast iron cooking game.”
“One of my favorite places to toodle around. You can't see everything in one pass. There are antiques, plants, art, jewelry, vintage clothes, furniture, and so much cool stuff! I want almost all of it!!”
“Great antique mall (though higher end merch means higher prices) and awesome attached bakery/deli. We got some BLTs that were amazing, but unless you can really handle your spicy food I'd recommend getting the hot spread they out on the BLTs on the side”
“This is the best antique store around! So many wonderful finds. Highly educated answers on historical pieces. Very fair prices.. Beautiful jewelry, garden art, awesome records... Native American pieces, knives.. and a HUGE collection of antique glass from an array of sought out artists!❤️ YOU FIFE CREEK!”
“I came here with my mom to check out this vintage shop. Really nice selection of home decor and some interesting old pieces. Everything is clean and the shop is easy to navigate. I ended up buying something small for $5 and since I had cash they didn't charge me tax, which was cool. I also overheard another customer ask how long this store has been around and the shopkeeper told her it was started in the 1960s (I forget which year). And he stressed that their proceeds go to local charities helping women and youth in Sonoma County (and others I'm sure those are just bits and pieces I remember).”
“We recently donated several pieces of furniture. We were delighted with all aspects of the process. Everyone involved was communicative, polite, and helpful. We were very appreciative of the pick up service. Thank you for the ability to give this furniture a second life.”
“It's just an 1800s stage stop and the Man who owns it is the most knowledgable person to ask about any of the very interesting history of the store and surrounding areas. He's 98 years old but you would guess he's like 45. For real. Its crazy. You gotta meet him.?”
“This place has satisfied all my salvage dreams. Not only do they have a huge selection of big, small, and unique items, everything is super reasonably priced. The owners are beyond fantastic, helpful, and you can really tell they love what they do. I don't live near Sabastapol, but find excuses to make the trip often just to visit Ray's and find some treasures. Go check it out, best of the bay.”
