“I've never needed to go to a jewelry store in the area before, but had a few extra links on a bracelet I wanted to get taken out so I started looking around online for options. This place had great reviews and I'm not a big review person, but honestly had such a smooth and lovely experience I wanted to give 5 stars! I called ahead of time and they were super lovely on the phone. I drove right over, they took care of it in a matter of maybe 2 minutes and then I was on my way! “Beautiful shop... My friends and I stopped in, and I found a beautiful sterling silver ring with a light blue stone. The owner offered great customer service and was very welcoming. A couple weeks later one of the stones fell out. I sent it back and he called me personally and then offered to replace it at no charge. Love that he offered and paid for shipping too. “An inviting women's clothing boutique located in Novato's Pacheo Plaza, not far off of 101.I was on my way to grab dinner at Active Culture, just across the parking lot. The vibrant spring colors at Bella drew me in. It was almost closing time, but the lovely sales associates let me browse and try on a few items. The store is beautifully arranged with contemporary women's clothing, bags, jewelry, and accessories, as well as some home/gift items like pillows, candles, and more. The clothes are grouped in color families, which really makes for such a pleasant shopping experience.I tried on a handful of items and found a summer sweater to take home. I'll definitely stop in again when next in the area. And, they have locations in San Anselmo, Greenbrae, and Mill Valley.”

“I had just gotten into fused glass jewelry several years ago when I first saw her jewelry in Hand Goods in Occidental. I was attracted to the vibrant color of the glass stones as well as the artistry in the designs. I like to buy a set of matching colors for earrings, necklaces, bracelets and rings. My skin tone is winter so I am always drawn to the jewel tones (i.e. Emerald Green, Sapphire Blue, Ruby Red). She carries a wide spectrum of colors to match any skin tone or preferences. But I like to use different styles within the sets to make it more interesting and not look so much like a set. She uses sterling silver in all of her pieces, sometimes adding a bit of gold tone. This is great for me as sterling is the only silver metal that my skin does not have an allergic reaction to. Her earrings are light so will not stretch out your ears. Most of her earrings and many of her necklaces come in a choice of two or three sizes (small, medium, large). Again, this is great for me because I like to wear large pieces of jewelry. My daughter, granddaughter and daughter-in-law all prefer smaller pieces and stud verses dangling earrings. While you may not see them on the website, she does make simple glass stud earrings that are inexpensively priced. So last Christmas I bought the three of them sets in multiple colors. They loved them. Finally, she has an easy to use website for customizing your online orders. First you pick a style. The style names come from the names of Katya's friends, family and pets. You may even find your own name there. I did. One of my favorite styles is Kathy, of course. Then you pick the size of the piece if applicable, size of stone if applicable, and finally the color from the online color chart. I always get compliments on my Katya jewelry. Thanks Katya!”

“Robin at Marin Jewelers Guild saved me! I had a unique beaded necklace made by a woman from Argentina who used to sell her handmade pieces at the Larchmont Street Fair in Los Angeles. One side had worn out and I took it to another "jeweler" in San Rafael who did a very fast, very shoddy job re-stringing it, even rudely contradicting my complaints when I returned it them to do over. So I left them behind and took the necklace to the Jewelers Guild who referred Robin, and paid to have it re-strung correctly. She did a perfect job, with such kindness and expertise! Her communication was great and her skills are stellar. I. highly recommend this beautiful shop and its artisans to anyone. Support your local artisans and go!”

“I was on a retreat in Mill Valley and some of the women couldn't stop talking about getting permanent bracelets... to memorialize the trip. I know the permanent bracelet trend is all over the place right now, but something about THIS particular time in my life felt... worthy of a bracelet. Some other retreat friends and I visited The Poet And The Bench a day or so later, and both owners remembered the gal's names that started the "look what we got!" trend! These 2 (Jeffrey and Bonnie!) could not have been lovelier and even offered to take a photo to send to me (my phone had died). Permanent bracelets are pricey. Mine was almost $300- 1/2 was for the actual 14k gold bracelet and the other 1/2 was for the teensy weensy diamond heart charm I chose. But I honestly love it! I look down and remember so fondly my time in Mill Valley The store is like an L- there's actual 2 entrances: one on the Main Street and one down a sweet little alley nook. It's curated by artists and well represented with small signs saying the artist, where they're from and a small bit about the collection/artform. Thanks for making my memory of this trip PERMANENT! “I found my happy place today in #sausalito just over the #goldengatebridge from San Francisco.Set amongst beautiful buildings and overlooking the harbour, Sausalito is probably best known for its Richardson Bay houseboat enclaves, built by artist squatters after WWII.Sausalito has a dynamic group of talented, local, visual artists and I was ready to explore.As a lover of markets, handcrafted wares and all things creative, I wasn’t let down. I walked along the streets absorbing the sights, sounds and smells that come with a tight knit community and tourist attraction.A highlight today was when I found @studio333downtown nestled away amongst the cafes and shops.This small store was brimming with unique and interesting pieces, most of which are made locally.I was first attracted to the glass soap trays, then the leather purses, then the earrings, the hats, the soap and so much more.This place amongst many “fill my cup” soaking up all the joy and craftsmanship that people have within them.I shall return again on another trip and explore more broadly what’s else Sausalito has to offer.”
