Echo Adventure Cooperative offers socially and environmentally sustainable travel and adventure services in the Yosemite National Park region. They provide guided sightseeing, hiking, and fly fishing adventures, as well as bike and gear rentals, a full-service lodging, and an outdoor shop. The fly fishing around Yosemite is classic stream fishing. The terrain is not always easy, requiring traversing bouldered hillsides, though guides have many options suitable for kids, the agile, and the less agile. Wading in shallow, slippery water is common. Guides are incredibly passionate, extremely good at providing instruction, and very enthusiastic and positive teachers. They are patient, helpful, super smart about all things outdoors, and very knowledgeable on the California wilderness. They give it their all to ensure guests enjoy themselves, spending time with each person to teach new methods, and are very calm and collected in encounters with wildlife. Instruction leads to improved technique throughout the day. Lunch is provided from a local deli and is very well prepared, with snacks and drinks throughout. All equipment and gear provided are in good condition. The shop staff are super friendly and the customer service is great. Overall, guests have a great time, really enjoy their day, and are extremely happy with the guidance and instruction, leaving better at fly fishing than they began. The experience is highly recommended.
Kevin was an outstanding guide! Very patient, great versatility in knowledge of back country areas. We fished Cherry Creek, fast paced, stayed busy the entire time, learned a lot. Great time, highly reccomend.

We had a wonderful afternoon tour with Nate, who could not have been friendlier or more accommodating. He was a font of interesting information about the local area and its history and wildlife. And he cooked us a delicious and lavish steak dinner in an absolutely beautiful setting at the end. Thank you for everything!
