Without a doubt I would not be alive and living the life I live today if it wasn't for captive Hearts. I learned how to be a lady, sober, a mother, how to read a Bible. We rode a beautiful horse for therapy..I took grief class among many more. This is a program that Is priceless!!! Thank you God for another day alive! My mentor and counselor Cyd and Leanne were outstanding. I couldn't say enough about this program

I was accepted in the home , Big red flag was greeted with the first question Where's the money by Leeann ! Big red flag they allow smoking at the women's home,,. So much for being a Christian based program ? that tells me that the program allows addiction of vaping and cigarettes ?.I was kicked out due to my medical condition sleep apnea and another medical condition . Big red flag ? before I entered I had told them about my medical conditions . They said that it shouldn't be a problem. What a lie ..I had an eye appointment for treatment that day only being there 15 days and they notified me on a phone call that same day of my doctor's appointment that had to leave the home no consideration for my health eye doctor explain that I shouldn't carie more than ten pounds. My mother who is a senior had to pack and Carrie my belongings Not only that they don't have professional personals for the job. The lady Lisa looks and acts like she is under the influence of crystal meth and drives like a maniac like she's in a hurry for her next high. Sad to say I believe discrimination took place also. I was the only person of color, maybe ? I was used for the cash....

This little thrift store was awesome. Not so much now. It has become very expensive and over crowded in there. For a very small shop, they have crammed in too much stuff. Hard to move around. The prices are ridiculously expensive for all donated items. $25.00 for used shoes??? $1.00 for used plastic bowls?? Buy them new at the dollar store for a $1.00. If you want high turnover, sell low. If not, keep your prices high. Their sister store across the street has nearly new prices as well. Why bother. Tooooooooo expensive for a second hand store. Yikes!

Bad experience. My daughter was invited over, taken out of hospital and falsely hoped to go there. She was talked out of it by saying there would be too much homework. It resulted in a great harm to her.

As we walk in life with false beliefs trying to control our lives when in fact as a addict I can not even control hour to hour. Captive Hearts gives us the tools to deal with hour to hour. It's up to me to use them. Counseling.. Mentors.. sponsors.. The churches.. classes., Homework ( after the program you are grateful for the homework.. ))). I've done it my way over forty years. did not work.... I've loved the process of trying Gods Way,...I thank captive hearts and all involved Good bless all of you... love. Wendy wolfe

I donate only to Captive Hearts when I have items that I can no longer use that are in good condition. The people who work there are all volunteers so more of their proceeds go to their cause which is helping people turn their lives around with Jesus help.Very many success stories too.

Great place! I found a wonderful selection of clothes at unbeatable prices. I went back three times. My new favorite second hand store.

Friendly overall, one lady couldn’t believe I grabbed this pair of pants from there discounted outside rack. I didn’t realize it until I got home after running errands, and was looking at my receipts that she charged me full price on them, I couldn’t believe it! It did frustrate me. I should of paid more attention while checking out! Oh well it goes to a good cause. Nice little thrift shop

I had The worst experience at this store. I will never go there again and everyone I know, knows why. on 7/8/2019 I was shopping there, like I frequently did, with my 9 year old son. As I came out of the dressing room, my son reached down to pet a small dog, who started barking. A very scary woman started to scream at my son not to touch him. She got down in my son's face. I promptly grabbed my son and told her not to yell at him. She informed me, yelling, her dog did not like children. I told her, her dog shouldn't be there. Her behavior is disgusting. Her dog should never be in a place of business ever, especially if it doesn't like children. That women shouldn't be in a place of business. It's a shame you represent women in recovery.

That was my grandson you yelled at! 1) why would a employee/employer have a dog that is not friendly much less kid friendly in a place of business? 2) if said canine is not friendly why would you allow it such easy access? 3) why was there not a notice in plain sight warning customers said canine is not friendly? 4) what give anyone the right to address any child in such manner? 5) what would have been the harm in approaching my grandson with some dignity & respect? 6) this is in no way the fault of my grandson or his family as your dog should have never been in a place of business if its known to be aggressive! The family you insulted has long standing in the community. Their extended family even longer. An apology publicly would go a long way in righting this wrong.
