“Of we could, we'd stay longer at this ranch. This place wouldn't be the same without Darlene and her passion for food and all the homemade goodies she's made. We loved her service, her sweetness and her delicious homemade breakfast. A must go if you're headed north”

“We stayed in the farmhouse. It is really beautiful and well maintained. I love the outdoor showers! We were with such a big group, I opted to actually sleep outside on the front porch, just so I wouldn't have to share of them with someone. And also I love sleeping outside. The vibe was amazing, I slept Great! The peaceful and gorgeous. The big enormous hot tub is so cool, you fill it up yourself and then drain it when you're done. We looked around the grounds and saw the other buildings, which are all incredible. We weren't there for an event, just renting the house, but the event space is absolutely gorgeous and anyone who gets married very very lucky!”

“Food used to be good until Elks rented out our kitchen. The food the new kitchen owners make is awful!!! I feel like I'm eating in a rest homefor the elderly..Small portion, no taste,Price $$ high.Ordered Chicken Fried steak, had a dab of gravy on top.Asked for extra gravy,I received 2 more tablespoons in a tiny dish..We won't be eating at our favorite Elks Lodge again..Our Lodge is loosing money, that's a shame”

“Wonderful venue for a live performance. My wife and I decided to make a mini-trip around a concert we were attending near Pismo Beach. The theater had an intimate feel and even though we were in row 8, our vantage point for the concert was just perfect. The acoustics were great and the seating was ample. The concert we attended was Leonid and Friends, a Russian group that plays many Chicago covers, as well as EWF, and others.A wonderful evening in a great theater.”

“Very welcoming, family feel bar and dining hall. You need a sponsor/ current member to become a member. Very family oriented with lunches or dinners cooked periodically by members for reasonable prices! Great drink prices too. The organization is a charity for youth!”

“Kym at The Victorian Estate was amazing. We planned our wedding for 50 from a distance and Kym was great at communications via text making things quick and easy. Everything you need is here, beautiful spacious gardens, indoor area, full bar, kitchen, guest rooms, and ample parking. We were able to bring in outside catering and bartenders giving us the freadom to have exactly what we wanted. Our bridal party was able to stay with us allowing us more time together. We felt at home, making what can be a stressful event much more comfortable. The grounds are great, you feel you are in your very own secret garden. Best bang for our buck.”

“Gorgeous landscaped nursery with a curated selection of draft beer, plus bottle and cans and wine/seltzer/hard kombucha. Lovely owner / Nipomo native Howdy happy to chat from behind the bar. This place is magical. Catering going on Fri-Sun, some weekdays, too. Check the FB for food options. Can't wait to come back to this secret (beer) garden.”

“We are so happy to have stumbled upon this gem in the SLO area for our wedding venue. We had around 150 guests at our wedding and I would say the venue accommodated the group just fine. The family who owns the property was very friendly. We had no issues with booking and our wedding planner took care of all the details/coordination. I believe their wedding package comes with white plastic chairs/round tables, wine barrel tabletops and white umbrellas. There are two bathrooms onsite and ample parking space as well. Wifi can be spotty so I recommend guests drive vs. uber/lyft. Pricing was very reasonable compared to the other venues we were looking at.The greenery is unreal and there are loads of different areas for your wedding photos which I liked (i.e., lower lawn, garden/stairway, orchard, pergola, etc). I would describe the venue as having two different areas. The upper half is where we had the welcome area and cocktail hour, there's also a storefront that is open to the public and the lower half is where we had our ceremony and reception. We did have to flip the layout (changing from ceremony to reception in between) so it was nice to have a separate area for our guests to go to for cocktail hour. We did not experience any issues with the storefront/campsite customers. Everyone was respectful. The dance floor was large enough for our wedding size and I liked that there are benches surrounding the deck which gave our guests the option to sit or rest and still be close to the festivities. The only thing (which wasn't a deal breaker for us but could be for others) is the venue has an early stoppage time and requires music to stop by 8pm. We ended up having our wedding from 2pm-8pm and added an after party in downtown SLO.Overall, I loved the venue and we have such fond and amazing memories of our wedding day.”

“Friendly animals and the admission price can't be beat ($1.00/person). There were only 2 pigs, 4 or 5 goats, a rooster, and a miniature horse. They provide baskets of food ($1.00 each). Our 3 grandkids (ages 10, 6, and 3) went through about $25 of food. Since we live local we took them for something to do; it served the purpose. I would have been disappointed if we drove 20+ miles thinking it was more than what it was. Worth it if you're local with little kids.”

“Not bad at all. Not 5-star dining, but why would you expect that ar a glorified bar. Games and activities for your kids if hitting it in the afternoon. Good food and drink. Casual, laid back atmo.”

“My husband and I were looking for the perfect location to get married: he wanted a barn, I wanted a vineyard, we wanted a wedding weekend with a place for our bridal party and their significant others to stay. We found Greengate Ranch & Vineyard very serendipitously and it was basically fate that GGRV had our exact date open ONLY in the month of May. After viewing the grounds and all of the available locations, we were sold. Greengate is downright gorgeous. We chose the barn to have our ceremony in and had the cocktail hour outside of the barn, and we chose the stables to have our reception in. Jena was very professional and made our wedding weekend very comfortable. She knows exactly what she's doing with the property. The housing accommodations are designed to perfection and we couldn't have dreamt up a more perfect location for our wedding.”

“Nice atmosphere. Servers are prompt and courteous. Food is not 5 star but for limited menu you have a wide variety of good chooses. A couple of the bartenders are real mixlogist. Sometimes we just have appetizers and cocktails. Live music a couple times a week.”

“We have been going to Sea crest Hotel for years now. I absolutely love this hotel the staff is excellent. I want to give a special thanks and review to 1 person in General. Bri” If spelled wrong sorry? Bri works at the front desk. When it comes to the stressful job of booking, Bri makes this process easy and does so with impeccable customer care. The confidence I have that my stay will be exactly how I intend is not always there when I handle the situation. Fortunately professional staff at Sea crest “Bri” being our usual candidate fulfills every need and corrects the mistakes I commonly make when booking a room with a pet involved. She handles it with exceptional quality, friendliness, professionalism, and most importantly a Genuine personality! Hands down she is one of Sea crest’s finest assets. “We got to a have a birthday party here and it really was the best birthday party ever! The staff was amazing. They went above and beyond setting up and decorating with personal details everywhere. The kids had so much fun and all the guests told us it was the best party they’ve ever been to. We’ve been guests at birthday parties at other gyms but CCG is definitely the best gymnastics party it town!”

“I had a great time at 15 degrees C in SLO. I met a friend there and we had a nice charcuterie board and some great sparking rose! The atmosphere is upscale but warm. They have many choices of wine available for taste and to buy by the bottle. I was shocked that we were the only ones there for 2 hours, I do realize it was a Thurs. at lunch time. I would love to return again in the evening, they have a cozy fireplace inside and some outdoor seating with fire pits as well.”

“My family had a reunion at the Quarterdeck because my deceased Grandma loved eating there. We had about 30 people, including a few children. We were pleasantly surprised how quickly we were served our drinks, salads, soups, and entrees, mostly from just one waitress. The manager came over to thank my cousin for making the reservation and thank us all for dining there. It was a wonderful family gathering.Kid-friendliness: Crayons and paper menus for the kids with a nice selection on the children's menu.”

“The course is oin reasonablygood shape after recovering from the Winter floods. There were a couple places where the cart path had to detour around washed out bridges. Several of the bunkers were yet to be restored. I'd recommend treating them as ground under repair.”

“Pismo was said to be a fun and nice place …the beach is fine…but the town is oddly old and out dated. Coming from malibu, laguna, and new port pismo is a little off beat. The locals are nice but a lot of the shops seemed liked tourist traps and trinkets. Not my favorite but the inn was nice . Thank you for providing great service with a smile, I will still recommend this place to others. It was fun watching local collect clams on the beach. I’ve never seen that down south”
