“My mother and I visited SLO a few days back and thoroughly enjoyed eating here. As a result of my mother's recent medical complications, she has had to abide by a severe diet that often precludes her from enjoying restaurant meals with friends and family. The NOVO staff, however, were unbelievably accommodating, sitting down with me prior and going in detail over what ingredients she can and can't intake, before prescribing potential substitutions and offering her not just one, but a few options. She LOVED IT! It has been incredibly hard to find restaurants that have been so willing to provide a warm and tailored meals. So thank you to everyone!”

“Of we could, we'd stay longer at this ranch. This place wouldn't be the same without Darlene and her passion for food and all the homemade goodies she's made. We loved her service, her sweetness and her delicious homemade breakfast. A must go if you're headed north”

“We stayed in the farmhouse. It is really beautiful and well maintained. I love the outdoor showers! We were with such a big group, I opted to actually sleep outside on the front porch, just so I wouldn't have to share of them with someone. And also I love sleeping outside. The vibe was amazing, I slept Great! The peaceful and gorgeous. The big enormous hot tub is so cool, you fill it up yourself and then drain it when you're done. We looked around the grounds and saw the other buildings, which are all incredible. We weren't there for an event, just renting the house, but the event space is absolutely gorgeous and anyone who gets married very very lucky!”

“Beautiful wedding/event venue. The atmosphere and ambiance are rustic modern ranch dreamy with gorgeous farmhouse home, large green yard area, and stone patio. Rustic updated barn and firepit are surrounded by gorgeous trees and small vineyards - all surrounded by gorgeous hillsides. Perfect photo opportunities. Location is close to downtown SLO and convenient by ride service. I regret forgetting to take photos.”

“This venue is stunning! I photographed a wedding here and I have to say - this place has one of my favorite ceremony views of all time! You can’t beat that afternoon light and that mountain backdrop!”

“We went to see Dogs in a Pile on a weekday. Nothing like seeing a show where the space was built to be a concert venue! The sound was pretty good, great airflow, the stage and lighting were immaculate. Clearly a lot of money went into building out the space and I'd say they did a pretty good job.Parking: 12 hour parking on both sides of the street.Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs in sight.”

“We are so happy to have stumbled upon this gem in the SLO area for our wedding venue. We had around 150 guests at our wedding and I would say the venue accommodated the group just fine. The family who owns the property was very friendly. We had no issues with booking and our wedding planner took care of all the details/coordination. I believe their wedding package comes with white plastic chairs/round tables, wine barrel tabletops and white umbrellas. There are two bathrooms onsite and ample parking space as well. Wifi can be spotty so I recommend guests drive vs. uber/lyft. Pricing was very reasonable compared to the other venues we were looking at.The greenery is unreal and there are loads of different areas for your wedding photos which I liked (i.e., lower lawn, garden/stairway, orchard, pergola, etc). I would describe the venue as having two different areas. The upper half is where we had the welcome area and cocktail hour, there's also a storefront that is open to the public and the lower half is where we had our ceremony and reception. We did have to flip the layout (changing from ceremony to reception in between) so it was nice to have a separate area for our guests to go to for cocktail hour. We did not experience any issues with the storefront/campsite customers. Everyone was respectful. The dance floor was large enough for our wedding size and I liked that there are benches surrounding the deck which gave our guests the option to sit or rest and still be close to the festivities. The only thing (which wasn't a deal breaker for us but could be for others) is the venue has an early stoppage time and requires music to stop by 8pm. We ended up having our wedding from 2pm-8pm and added an after party in downtown SLO.Overall, I loved the venue and we have such fond and amazing memories of our wedding day.”

“My husband and I were looking for the perfect location to get married: he wanted a barn, I wanted a vineyard, we wanted a wedding weekend with a place for our bridal party and their significant others to stay. We found Greengate Ranch & Vineyard very serendipitously and it was basically fate that GGRV had our exact date open ONLY in the month of May. After viewing the grounds and all of the available locations, we were sold. Greengate is downright gorgeous. We chose the barn to have our ceremony in and had the cocktail hour outside of the barn, and we chose the stables to have our reception in. Jena was very professional and made our wedding weekend very comfortable. She knows exactly what she's doing with the property. The housing accommodations are designed to perfection and we couldn't have dreamt up a more perfect location for our wedding.”

“Although it was rainy the whole trip, it was a blast! We went for our daughters 21st. This place was in a great location for the nightlife!! The room was so spacious. The decorations were very cool! We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay! Easy check in, pet-friendly, great communication! We will be back!”

“We got to a have a birthday party here and it really was the best birthday party ever! The staff was amazing. They went above and beyond setting up and decorating with personal details everywhere. The kids had so much fun and all the guests told us it was the best party they’ve ever been to. We’ve been guests at birthday parties at other gyms but CCG is definitely the best gymnastics party it town!”

“My partner and I celebrated our 5 year anniversary here as well as our domestic partnership! The food and service were truly amazing and delicious. We've eaten at this establishment numerous times, even before the recent remodel and every time it has been amazing. The famous Mac and cheese plus the ossobucco are our to go dishes. Favorite restaurant in San Luis Obispo.”

“Compared to most botanical gardens I have visited, this one is rather sparse. However, it is cute, quaint, and dog-friendly! It also features a separate children's garden with areas for them to play and do activities. It's definitely worth a look, especially if you have kids and/or dogs!”

“Completely different from Midwestern botanical gardens that I'm used to, but that's the point. The young woman at the registration desk was incredibly informative and seemed to love her job. We spent less than an hour here (we were not appropriately attired to take the longer trail), but it was a great introduction to the local climate and native plants.”

“WAIT A MINUTE... HANG ON...Did I book a room at the SANDS INN & SUITES or the RITZ CARLTON?As you might imagine given that this review is posted on the Google Maps page for the Sands Inn & Suites, I didn't book a room at the Ritz Carlton. My stay at the Sands was impeccable. I wouldn't trade my experience here for anything in the world...except maybe A MILLION DOLLARS. Other than that, I WOULDN'T TRADE IT FOR ANYTHING.”
