Such a charming place to browse and enjoy the local artisans work. Lovely views add to the charm. Enjoy a cuppa coffee and take in an eyeful. I find it immensely relaxing and pleasurable. Kind, friendly staff are generally the artists; so that adds to the ambience.

This is the retail arm of the Gualala Arts Center. Lots of interesting original pieces. Very good selection of jewelry by multiple artists. Paintings, pottery, cards, glass sculpture and other works by local artists.

My husband and I are artists who moved to Gualala many years ago because of it's rich offering of art and cultural opportunities. The Dolphin Gallery is the retail gallery for Gualala Arts Center and features the best of our local artists. Though the scenery is not to be missed, it is important that visitors take a break and take in the art at the Dolphin. The collection is ever changing and visitors find it hard to pass up the special treasures to be found at this local gallery.

I enjoy the place. Great selection of local artists. Never know what you'll find. Prices are not super high fancy gallery prices - they are, instead, things you could possibly afford if you really like them. Such as $40 ceramic bowl etc. It is not open every day, so check hours.Always open on weekends though, I think. Volunteers staff it, so the help is very kind and friendly but perhaps not super professional - but I like that. Give it a try next time you're in the area.

A pretty cool gallery on the same lot as the supermarket. A great selection of local photographs done in many different techniques (b&w, color and some gold finish thing). There is also a gallery in the back that has original paintings and other works. A great place to pick up a photograph as a souvenir!
