Gualala Point Regional Park is a great and absolutely beautiful park on the river with trails to the ocean. It offers a wide, light pebble beach at the estuary confluence of the Gualala River and Pacific Ocean. There is a long trail along the bluffs with incredible and terrific views. The park is a small but well-situated beach day with close proximity to the Bluff Trailhead, Sea Ranch, and Gualala town. The park includes a nice visitor center with wifi. There is a campground across the street that must be reserved ahead of time, featuring beautiful sites with lots of room that feel safe and provide a calm little getaway. The campground is very clean with good amenities and friendly staff. Some campsites are far enough away from others for privacy. For self-contained vehicles under 25 feet, overnight parking is available in the day use area. The park is worth the fee.
Great park with access to the beach and the mouth of gualala river. long trail along the bluffs with incredible views of the ocean. UNFORTUNATELY bicycles are not allowed! I wonder why!
