The staff seem pretty overwhelmed and slow energy. As if the customers are an imposition.Funny, because they are all fairly new hires. I remember the first few weeks how full of smiles & welcoming they all were. This kind of thing has been happening at the Post office for far too long. No company should ever feel it's ok to treat their employees so poorly that they lose their zest for life. It's so sad. It is another example of the imbalances of our world. Why do some people find it so hard to treat other people with kindness and respect?

Worst post office ever. Staff is rude and incompetent. Somehow, they always manage to lose our packages. The "No access to location" is a lie. The packages are very small, and they perfectly fit in the mailbox. They're just lazy. As soon as you go to complain, they go to deliver the packages as they should in the first place. Avoid this post office if you can.

If I could leave zero stars I would. This Post Office is the appidomy of incompetence. When I called to find out why my package wasn't delivered to my door, as all others are, they told me that the delivery person doesn't get paid to deliver them to individual numbers at the address! DOESN'T GET PAID?!!!!

I travel a lot and need to have access to my PO box when I return home. The fact that I can only pick up my mail when the lobby is open (business hours) is absurd. What about customers who work full-time? Hire a security guard if you need to but let us have what we pay for. This is beyond inconvenient.

First the PO changes our street numbers here in odd fellows park, so now depending on who you get mail from. Makes getting your mail confusing, I’ve learned to deal with that. But now another problem keeps happening, I thought there is Sunday mail delivery? I have had a few amazon orders saying they’d be delivered on a Sunday . Yet everytime tracking says “ undeliverable “. Or address not found etc. there’s no excuse for this to continue. I expect my orders when tracking says it, yet on a Sunday there’s always different reasons as to why I don’t get my delivery. I wish amazon would start delivering out here with there own delivery vehicles, like in SR or RP. Our mail varies on what time it gets here as it is, can be as late as 7pm. Not a big deal, but not getting deliveries on sundays ? I’ll be calling to find out if mail is even delivered on sundays , so I’ll at least know for sure. And if the postal person is just not wanting to deal with pkgs on sundays, I question it because the reasons for not getting delivered keep changing. So research, says there is mail delivery and certain amazon orders delivered on sundays. So I’ll definitely be looking into this

I pay for amazon prime but never get my USPS packages on time because of this post office. My packages are always late and tracking says "held at customer request" or "delivery attempted, no access to driveway or front door". I went to go pick up a package that said "held at customer request" and they wouldn't give it to me because I didn't have a slip. When I asked why it was held and not delivered I was told "they didn't have time". I never have any problems from FedEx, UPS, DHL , or any other delivery service even white glove delivery that drives way farther than the post office right down the street from me. I find it hard to believe they "don't have time" to deliver dozens of my packages over the years, they are just lazy.

The new clerk Christine is rude and told me that my street address does not receive mail. Three time she told me that I needed to contact Amazon and give them the correct address. I have lived at the same address for 40 years and UPS, FedEx, On trac and DHL deliver regularly. When I told her that the address was current and accurate she would not listen. I made a formal complaint and the Post Master Ron asked me to call back. I called 5 times and no one answered the phone and the call did not offer a message service. I called the next morning to discuss the situation and he apologized for the bad service. I decided to go elsewhere to mail packages and Forestville PO gave 5 star service. Am I the only one who noticed an adult depends diaper next to the stairs leading to the front post office door? The diaper sat there for at least 6 weeks this spring. Surely that is a sign that the post master does not care.

Awful customer service. They seem bothered by the expectations of bare minimum service. Picking up a package delivered to a P.O. Box address is always met with exasperation as though they're about to embark on a polar expedition.

I'm currently out of town and need to speak with a live person regarding my mail hold. I've been calling the Guerneville post office for days and no one picks up the phone. I called the 800 # for main usps to speak to them, was on hold for 1 hour, 20 minutes then disconnected. Called back and on hold for 45 minutes and still holding. This is ridiculous. Hire more people if you're unable to service the citizens of your jurisdiction.

Major issues with our post office. They closed my box and changed my locks without bothering to give me my bill so that I would know that it is due. Ridiculous? Yes, but further exploration on the issue revealed that it is the customer's responsibility to know when its time to pay your annual or semi annual fees otherwise you forfeit your box. Just a word to the wise. Additionally, the after hours entry box doesn't work so no one who cannot make it during regular hours is out of luck! It would be nice if they would please fix it but no one at the counter seems to have any authority to get that accomplished. Its challenging as I cannot receive mail at my home as it is very rural and not an option so the post office is my only mail option. Get it together folks at the guerneville office please!
