From personalized service to selection, it's a rare find for Healdsburg let alone Sonoma County. They carry exclusive limited production couture and some other accessible recognized labels. Even some local makers, that's cool. I would liken Tamarind to the quality and level of clientele that one might find in Calabasas or Ojai, and of course wine country. They fill a niche cache of specialty labels very well. A needed level of boutique shopping that sadly Sonoma County is lacking. This is a must visit in your wine country best life sojourn. “My coat from this business is the best garment that I have ever owned. Actually it's an understatement to call my custom coat a "garment." Instead, I own the work of a master artisan that I happen to drape on my body because that is what we do with coats! I bought my coat more than 15 years ago when Ms. Bradford attended a crafts show here in Atlanta. I was pleasantly surprised at how easy the customization process flowed. I had some general ideas on what I wanted in a shearling coat. Ms. Bradford filled in all of the details and gave me something that is way better than what I imagined! After many years, I can still fit the coat since she sized and shaped it for inevitable weight gain as we age. I have always had compliments on my cinnamon coat. Just this past week, a lady was standing near me at a checkout line and she praised the coat. Years ago, I had to go to the emergency room in winter. I draped the cozy coat over me like a blanket to boost the flimsy hospital gown. Pure heaven! And I was in a cold movie theater recently. The coat served once again as my comforting blanket. (LOL) The photos below show how the gorgeous coat has not worn out. None of the seams have separated at the edges, the pockets are still secure, the antique buttons are still attached firmly, etc. For the last few years, I have been thinking about buying a second shearling coat from the master artisan. I was just on her website drooling again. I'm already seeing the specific color that I would choose against one of the shorter jackets shown on the website. I need to stop pretending like I can take my sweet time on this. Time certainly has a way of marching on even if I assume that I will be on this earth forever.......”

“My friends and I were on a day trip to some wineries and my wedge sandal broke in the car on the way up. In a hurry, I stopped into Susan Graf and assumed I’d be purchasing some Tory Burch sandals. However, the shop owner (I believe) pointed me to some slip on shoes at the back of the store that had a variety of colors. I ended up picking out the blue Blowfish Malibu shoes and they ended looking so much better with my outfit (and were a 1000x) more comfortable than my original shoes. Not only did I save a $100+ on shoes, I got some very cute day shoes and was treated so well! When I decide to purchase Tory Burch shoes or sunglasses, I will go out of my way to come to Susan Graf to do so!”
