Dr. Sam is not a good doctor. He suggested blood test and X ray for my 12 year old dog and tooth extraction, which cost me $800. When I went to pick up my dog and paid my fees, they told me I can go now. I was shocked, nobody showed me the blood test results and the XRay result!!!! When I asked about it, it took a long time before Dr. Sam came and told me they have not done the X Ray yet! I told him I don’t want the XRay anymore. But him insisted I need to do it. Later they I asked about a copy of the blood work , the doctor showed me a piece of paper looked like some paper has been copied over and over. I just feel it was a fraud. I was fooled and cheated. That’s how I feel now. They don’t care about your pet. All they want is your money. Don’t go there. There worst place.

Beware of your pets' health taking them here. Pets come back worse if they even come back . Many deaths have been reported due to this hospital. It's not worth it.

I'm sorry for that person who says they had a bad experience with Sandra the groomer.I am sure there is more to what happened to that precious fur baby .I can honestly say that our dog Bandit has been going to Sandra for 8 years and she has been nothing but patient, kind and loving to our Bandit, who is a nervous dog. It's a shame that someone would say such negative things abt such an awesome groomer like her.Thank you Sandra for taking care of both of our dog.

I called to ask questions about potentially getting my newly adopted two kittens fixed, when they answered the phone I said I just wanted to get some information and they put me on hold for awhile, when someone finally got on the phone they were extremely rude and short in answering my questions. I was trying to find out about needing appointments and what the process looks like for my kittens as I had adopted from a nearby rescue and wasn't sure how to go about getting the spay and neuter that was included in my adoption cost that I had already paid a month ago. I got yes and no answers at best from the person on the phone and an irritated rude tone like if I was bothering them. I got such bad vibes I have decided to just pay out of pocket to get them fixed elsewhere. I also had to call back to get the name of who I talked to on the phone because they never gave a name, so amber who is supposedly the office manager helped me decide to take my kittens to a kind veterinarian office instead of Colima animal hospital. So thanks for that!

I was referred to this Animal Hospital for my coworker that has been coming here for years. She had nothing to say but great things I was attended by Nurse Trisha. She is sweet, caring and proactive. There was quite a wait and I believe the front office is a little bit understaffed unfortunately but even though they are understaffed and things are running slower than we wish they would; they do need a little bit more organization in the front, but do they care about animal's; Absolutely! are they educated? Absolutely ! the place is clean, the doctor is very sweet.. The nurses are very sweet and caring. I took all three of my dogs in for a sedated tooth Cleaning All their cleanings were done great I took advantage of the February dental hygiene promotion. The nurse called me and let me know how they were doing. She checked in with me frequently. I'm very satisfied. Thank you very much.

This place's service is kind of horrible.. some registers are kind but some are rude But they are known for bulldogs so even tho every time i go there it takes me 5hrs to fix my baby i just wait. There is no other way. Im not going to the other vet for my bulldog. They are known for treating very good at bulldogs since we lost one from surgery from the other vet. We only go here for surgery or something difficult to fix Or bulldog issues such as like skin problem. we go to the other vet for shots and other simple stuff you have to wait. So you go in you write a name and stuff and basic 1hr - 2hr wait. No kidding. And they call your name, you go in to your room for wait to come in? Takes 10-15mins or so not bad. And after doctor sees your pet you wait for whatever treatment for 20-30mins. And when something comes up they leave the room again you have to just sit there wait for another 20-30mins no big deal. At this point, 2hrs already past since you got there. And you come out and just 30more minutes to pay to leave. Sometimes takes longer. Or shorter. Oh and they open at 7:30 but doctor doesn't come in till 9:30 but nowhere says that so if you didn't wanna wait and go there at 7:30? You have to wait 2hrs for doctors to come in lol so either way you have to WAIT or comeback later ^^ One time i got there 7:30 and doctor wasn't coming until 9:30 so i waited extra 2hrs and more came out around "noon". I spent 5hrs waiting. I haven't back there since but i know that i have to go back to that hell when my babies sick

Do not come here. My baby boy, Louis, passed away after $1,500 in vague & quick examinations and ibuprofen just being thrown our way for 5 months. I was consistently gaslit and told there was nothing wrong with him or maybe just a sprained muscle, until he suddenly passed away in my arms at home from a massive stomach tumor that was growing in him the whole time.My dog was losing weight and his x-rays were fine… they told me just because his x-rays were okay, that he was healthy. As dog owners we are paying this hospital to identify and treat our pets with illnesses out of our knowledge.I noticed they always tried to get non-birth patients out in & out, as quickly as possible. If you really feel like your dog isn’t doing well or are concerned about your pet, go elsewhere. Go where they actually care about your animal’s life.Long live Louis.

I have come here many times with different animals. Dr. Sam has always been so helpful and kind. The staff has helped me a lot, and they really make me feel at ease. I can buy my prescription foods here too, which is very convenient for me. I've been with Colima since they were at the old location, and I know I can rely on Colima and staff.

Listen to the reviews. Don't take your pet here. My dog got a bump removed here and had to come a week later to get rewrapped. They left the door slightly open and I saw them slam my German shepherd against the wall and I immediately got up to tell them to be careful and that if they need help calming him down that I can and they told me to "he's fine please go back to the exam room". That day they wrapped him too tight which caused his paw to swell due to the lack of circulation. I had to cut open his wrapping to see that they never stitched him up after removing the deep bump on his paw. My poor dog had a huge open wound, I couldn't believe it. I also never got the results even though then said it would take 5-7 days. I was waiting to see if it was cancer since he is 10 years old. Please please don't take your pet here. I know it's convenient but at least find a place that won't treat your pet like this.

First off, I would be giving this place one star, but they managed to do the right thing and discount the rate that they were charging me for services. Some of the biggest issues with this place is really their lack of communication, but I will also say the place is not very clean. I brought my dog in because he was not eating as normally as he usually does, and he had lost significant weight so they decided to do x-rays and bloodwork. They initially asked for a deposit which I paid, but no way was I informed about the additional days or treatment that they would keep my dog without my authorization, let alone four days.i called several times each day and never was given the lab results and was always given the run around. When I finally talked to the vet he gave me the information but no real diagnosis. Still dealing with an healthy dog without a reason why.
