Used to love coming to Daiso but their prices have recently jumped up to $2.25 for their basic items. I came a few weeks ago and the item I bought was $1.50/$1.75? I forgot but it was definitely under $2. Now that same item is now $2.25. Truthfully a bunch of the stuff is no longer worth it at that price knowing I can find something similar at other stores. Also with that price hike, the decent items are around $4.50 + when it would be $3.Xx or less.. I always wanted the Disney silicone ice molds, which used to be $2.50, didn’t buy it cause I didn’t need it then. I went back and yup, $4.50 now. Rather shop AliExpress or Temu now lol. Can literally find the same items for much cheaper on there.

Love shopping at Daiso. It has everything you might need, plastic organizers, cute stationary, cute bags, gardening accessories, simple home decor, etc. at a good price. It's definitely a great place to get gift items, office & school supplies. My daughter loves going here because the price is right and they have such kawaii stuff.
