The one star go to the food, which is amazing as always, but the service is getting worse every time we visit. First of all, ALL the tables were dirty, I saw every client cleaning their own tables with napkins, us included. The dirty plates cabinet was so full that I had to organize it a bit so that my dirty plates wouldn’t fall off. All of the staff were busy chatting and using cellphones instead of doing their jobs, it was really uncomfortable being there, wouldn’t visit again.

The hot red bean soup was served to us room temperature and not hot, but the egg waffle (matcha) and signature icy grass jelly with boba were on point and delicious. This place is much better than the chino hills location, which I’ll never return to again.

The red bean soup is my favorite. But there were times that the soup was only lukewarm instead of hot. This location has been really dirty since half a year ago. The premise becoms run down due to the lack of cleaning up. The thing that pushed me to write this review is the stupid replacement of the bamboo spoon. As all of you can see, that spoon can't even be considered as a spoon, it looks and works more like a paddle. It is extremely flat, close to no curve. I have a hard time of scooping anything, especially liquid. I come at least once a week and if this continue, I'll either have to bring my own spoon or stop going as this utensil is upsetting. I'll post follow up reviews on this matter to see if they decided to bring the metal spoons back.

Long waiting for order and food, no organization, customer confused the line to order…take too long (more than 15min for order and more than 15 waiting for a cup of drink.

I didn't like warm Taiwanese deserts as a kid in Taiwan but as an adult, MeetFresh is a great dessert option! And, this place is usually pretty busy and the menu is a bit different from the Temple City location (also usually busy) as the Hacienda Heights store has the purple rice combos all the time. I addition to the grass jelly/boba/taro/red bean/peanuts/q and mini q desserts that can be ordered warm or cold, they also have good drinks as well as huge shaved ice plates, tofu pudding and egg waffle options. You need to check out MeetFresh for yourself.

I placed my order with a girl and was told the wait time was 20 minutes, so we waited. Another girl finally called our number, and we were told that they don't have the Taro Paste anymore. I told her we can wait, because the taro paste was the reason why I was there, in which she responded that it has been "discontinued." I asked her very confused because nobody told me that it was discontinued when I placed the order, and multiple orders before me had the taro paste. She explained that they will no longer carry taro pastes and encouraged me to change my order, which I denied and got my money back. What's even more confusing is, I drove to the Chino Hills location later in the evening and they still carried the taro paste. I'm very confused to why some locations carry certain add-ons and others don't. And when was it discontinued, as in was the taro paste NOT freshly made? Or did the Rowland Location received news of discontinuing the item mid-day?

One of our go-to dessert places. This location is conveniently located inside a huge plaza with ample parking spots and lots of restaurants/dessert places around (more food options to choose from). This spot is clean and organized. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. Some of our faves are Iced Grass Jelly Signature and Waffles.Highly recommend this place.

I ordered hot grass jelly soup with some taro and potaro balls. I don't know how they expect me to spoon up my soup with a flat wooden spoon. They gave the same flat spoon for my order of shaved ice. I feel like a clown trying a festival challenge, except there are no prizes.Fine, I thought. I'll just put my soup in a to-go bowl and go home and eat it. Well, apparently, Meet Fresh charges extra for getting a to-go bowl. Oh, but if I use their tiny to-go bowl, then there's no charge. Look, I'm already annoyed that I can't enjoy my dessert. Now you're making me pay extra to take my purchase home because you can't be bothered to give your customers proper eating utensils.Don't even get me started on their paper straws that melt into your drinks whether hot or cold and makes your $7 drink taste like cardboard.

There is a self-service ordering screen, which is very convenient, and the food is made very quickly. The price is a bit expensive, and the portions are average, so it’s quite satisfactory! !

I waited here for 10 more minutes, while waiting I ordered online, but they cancelled my order with no expectation! What a waste of time!

This was my first time trying their hot purple rice dessert signature and I was surprised by its mellow sweetness. It had two huge chunks of taro which I loved along with other chewy toppings hidden inside. I'd definitely recommend this for a cold night because it'll warm you right up. We ordered a lot to share so I also tried the icy taro ball signature but with sesame rice balls instead of boba. This is a classic you can't go wrong with and the shaved ice underneath is refreshing without being overwhelmingly sweet.I loved the cold coco sago soup combo B so that will now be in my rotation when I visit. My only gripe is that it wasn't cold enough. The icy grass jelly signature is the one item we never fail to get when we come here and it did not disappoint again. It has all the textures you'd hope for: icy, chewy, and creamy from the endless containers of creamer that you can pour on top.We went at 7 p.m., before prime dessert hour, so our items came out fast but it started getting packed around 8 once everyone's dessert tooth started kicking in. The seating is very spacious so there's no worry about finding a seat.

I could have sworn I have been here before, but I actually hadn't before last week. A place offering traditional Chinese-style desserts, it unsurprisingly appears to be a trendy spot for young people of East Asian descent. When I was here, it seems like everyone has to order from the touch screen, which makes it easier for the staff to just focus on making the food and fulfilling orders. The staff were really helpful, really good about communication. One staffer told me that they were about to run out of taro balls and asked me if a substitution was okay. Another staffer made sure I heard them correctly when I asked for the bathroom code. There is a bathroom code by the way. You have to ask the staff at the counter! The desserts here reminds me of my times in Greater China (Hong Kong, Taiwan, Macau, and Mainland). I had a little hit of nostalgia and kind of lamented being around people who did not like traditional Chinese desserts as much as I did when I was in Asia. Life is long!
