Arata's Pumpkin Farm is a great pumpkin patch and small amusement park for Halloween, located 6.5 miles south of Highway 92 on Highway 1. The season is August through October. It is a quite sizeable farm with many varieties of pumpkins and lots of activities. It is a great place to take pictures with family and friends. They make a different huge hay maze each year, which is beautifully done, diffuse, and a serious challenge. There is also a haunted house that is new each year, an amazing corn maze, a hayride, and many photo ops. The staff are very friendly, welcoming, kind, attentive, and fun. In October only on the weekend, there is a parking fee to control the crowds, which includes a coupon to use for purchases. It is a perfect spot to visit as a family.
Arata is a great pumpkin patch! I think the maze and the sword fighting were my favorite things to do. Good selection of pumpkins. Lots of small and large options. Great for picture taking as well.

There is a haunted house that is new each year. Highly recommend it! They are very friendly, welcoming and fun as well.
