I'm writing this in the hotel and so far so bad..The reception lady at the front desk was super rude ! How much should i tip to have 5 star hotel service and smile?? There was no light in our living room and bed room light was broken...I was made to wait for the light for 90 min in the darkness with kids it was like being a war.
After that I called gest service to ask some questions and she hung up on me!! maybe she didn't like my poor English or accent I don't know but at least I understand English and some other languages and if she speaks ONLY English ,she needs to show some respect to cultured persons even if their outsiders .
I’ve stayed at ritz sansan francisco before this, they're much nicer, friendly and professional . And also! They had a beautiful club lounge!!
I bet they treat me better if i were white.

Bougie as hell, but that is expected given that it is the Ritz Carlton. The staff was awesome though, very tentative to all our needs while we were there. The guys working in the valet were awesome and very polite as well.

Played the Harp on the Ocean Lawn for a dreamy Wedding Ceremony and Cocktail Hour. What a jaw dropping location for an elegant wedding!

I definitely do not recommend this hotel! After leaving the Carlton Ritz hotel, almost the value of my entire stay there for 3 people was debited from my account! This is a scandal and a fraud! And I paid the entire amount in advance at check-in! In addition, one of the participants of our stay at this hotel also had money deducted from his card twice in a restaurant. I warn you against this hotel and card payments there!

What a fantastic Hotel. Had a fantastic relaxing night here. Food was incredible at the conservatory. The bagpipes for the setting sun was really perfect. Finishing to the second the sunset.

Revisiting the Ritz-Carlton Half Moon Bay after 20 years was an absolute delight. The stunning ocean views and exceptional service made it just as unforgettable as I remembered.

Our stay at The Ritz-Carlton was completely ruined by an unacceptable experience at The Conservatory, the in-hotel restaurant. On our last evening, we approached the hostess, Karen, to request a table for dinner. Her attitude was blatantly rude, condescending, and shockingly racist. Without any valid reason, she told us there were no tables available.
Feeling confused and insulted, we walked over to the check-in desk, where we were informed that there were actually plenty of tables open and no reservation was necessary. It's appalling that a hotel of this caliber would allow staff at The Conservatory to treat guests in such a discriminatory and disrespectful manner.
This experience was nothing short of disgraceful and left us with a very negative impression of what is supposed to be a luxury hotel. The Ritz-Carlton needs to seriously address this behavior and ensure that no guest is ever subjected to this kind of treatment again.

Only able to enjoy from the outside, but would love to stay here. Walked part of the Coastal Trail that took us to the Ritz Carlton. The golf course is stunning. Enjoyed watch party goers enjoying the enormous patio. Even came across a random bagpipes that came out in full regalia to play for sunset. Wish the Coastal Trail Parking here was larger or easier to be notified when full.

We only tried to park in the public parking garage on site. The guard let more than a dozen cars in the lot where there was absolutely no parking and you couldn't
even drive thru once you were in side. What a nightmare. Everyone had to back out. I have no idea why anyone would spend that kind of money for what they have to offer. People we encountered were very rude.

Stayed 4 nights. The 1st 3 were incredible. Rooms are very nice. We stayed at the cottages. Fire pit on the balcony. The problem was the last night. Our upstairs neighbors have 4 kids. Ages 3 to 7 or so. They ran continuously. I can’t blame the kids. They are kids. The parents could have requested a bottom floor room. But the hotel should show respect for the other clients and place all kids on the bottom floor. The hotel said it’s the parents responsibility to calm the children. How do you calm 4 kids stuck in a single room. I feel it’s the hotels responsibility 100% to make sure all guests have a quiet, enjoyable visit.
Other than that. Love the place. I should require top floors to help prevent this.
