I posted a review about 10 months ago that wasn't too favorable about the way they interact with customers as they enter. The manager reached out, and we had a fantastic discussion about what I thought they could do instead. She was gracious and listened. I think I've gone in for business six or seven times since and I have to say, I enjoy the experience. It's just felt welcoming. I love that small-town bank feel!

I have been a customer at this branch in Half Moon Bay since 2011. Ironically, I have never read any of the yelp reviews until last week when I wanted to check the hours for the branch. I have interacted with all of the managers, tellers and personal bankers and found everyone to be understanding, kind, and professional. Even when they are busy, this branch has a positive attitude and respects the customers. I value Wells Fargo in Half Moon Bay

I adore the tellers and all of the personal bankers at this location. I really could do without the female manager with the gray hair. sorry not trying to offend but she is so unfriendly. you could walk past her as you enter and she wont even say hello BACK to you. 29 years I've banked with wells, but if she's in the bank near the tellers I cringe. she also makes you feel small and belittles you if one of the tellers needs service. she's just not nice. why haven't you promoted one of the numerous well qualified Latina tellers, who ruin circles around her and are loving, polite and fast as the speed of light. I am too busy and full of life to continue with the many ways she has been off putting and rude. avoid her and all will be grand.

Have been banking with this location for years as I've lived in HMB all my life. Staff have always been pleasant. However is it possible to not store your trash and recycling receptacles inside the area where the ATMs are located? It's unsanitary and customers have to walk through the flies that accumulate there.

Since when is it ok to harass customers for trying to use your services? I tried to deposit a large sum of money today in person. The woman at the entrance repeatedly questioned me in front of other customers as to why I needed to go inside. There was no privacy, there was intimidation, and I felt like I was being bullied. Would love to hear why this branch thinks this is an acceptable way to treat customers.

I decided to get a credit card. One of those gold ones that once you spent more than a certain amount on that card and you would receive rewards. That was the only reason I decided to get that specific card. These said I was not able to receive those rewards because I passed the time limit by an hour. The person who said this was Johanna from hmb. It is not fair that I did not receive my rewards.

woooow. im not sure what bank u all going to...or maybe u ppl feel entitled. i ben with wells fargo for over 10+ years and never had a bad experience ever.tellers are absolutely great...it a bank mistake happen it part of life,if a mistake is made don't go in with a dam attitude.if u do well expect it right back...i would give 10 stars if i could.this is only bank i will deal with. great staff,and most of all they pay attention to detail...thank u to all at wells fargo . Was reading a post on how someone's debit card was skimmed. They felt it occurred at the WF ATM machines in HMB because they had only used it there. I didn't think anything of it because I had used my card there the same weekend and nothing happened. Flash forward to yesterday when I receive a call from WF Fraud. Not trusting a random phone call, I hang up and log into my account to find that my card had been used to make purchased online. The last time I had even used that card was at the WF ATM the same weekend as the other woman had complained about. Supposedly, the chances of a card being skimmed are slim, but I don't trust those machines anymore. They may be new, but I think someone needs to check them out. Beware and keep an eye out on your account people. If it wasn't the machine, then be careful when using any WF card anywhere.

I've been a wellsfargo customer for 10+ years. Recently there has been alot of negative reviews concerning there new policy changes. Yes the new policy suck , they sometimes run out of change and there system goes down from time to time. Why the 5 star you may ask?. We'll because it's a bank, stuff happens and it's not the employees working at this branches fault.

Wells Fargo is at it again! I just tried to cash my paycheck (I don't have an account at Wells Fargo but the company I work for does). After processing everything, he was just about to give me my money when he informed me that the account holder has a policy of charging $7.50 when a check is cashed from their account. I questioned this and he told me the account holder is given the option when they open the account to charge the fee. He said the account holder might not be aware of the charge. I said, you just told me they are given the option, why wouldn't they know? He couldn't answer. I refused to pay and told him the fee should be mentioned PRIOR TO PROCESSING THE CHECK. I spoke to my employer where the check was drawn and she was NOT aware of this. She asked me who gets the fee, me or the bank? I couldn't answer that.

Very disappointed with service. There's some teller there that is so unhelpful . I went to get change & ask her to double check the amount I have given & I got an answer that was so much disappointing. She was very unfriendly & not even smiling. Seems like she needs some help with managers in taking care of customers.

From Cathy and Ms. Tanner down through tellers, custodians, etc. this is a marvelous place to do your banking. (In addition "Shar" who works from a remote call center is friendly and knowledgeable.) I do hope hope this middle-of the road review will be low enough to attract attention of top-level administrators in the bank hierarchy, some of whose policies are absurd. So... I have several savings and a checking account with a good deal of cash available. In addition my Credit card limit is several thousand,and my (automatically deposited) monthly SSA checks more than outweigh my expenditures. However, my wish to automatically transfer rent to my landlord is not possible because something called Zelle won't have it. The best I can do is make a series of trifling payments on successive days. Looking up Zelle's description of itself ... I read that "Zelle is a convenient way to send and receive money from friends, family and other people you know and trust. You can send money to almost anyone with an eligible U.S.-based bank account using their email address or U.S. mobile phone number." Is that laughable or criminal? UPDATE 8/17 Belle is such a mess that I will stop attempting to make it work for me
