Prices keep rising and channels are getting worse. Filling the lineup with shopping networks and infomercials. As of 5 days ago CBS and NBC have been dropped. They charge a 12.00 per month fee for network and local channels still. Am currently using a remote that is so old some buttons do not work and lettering on it is faded. To replace it will cost 30.00. After being a customer for many years I am fed up . Researching other alternatives and will urge others to do that too.

My family signed up with Dish last year, and have had quite a bit of trouble. I set our system to check for updates about 3AM every morning. Once or twice a week the system resets itself in the evening when we're watching the news or our other favorite shows, and we miss part of the program and can't go back and see it. Recently me and my daughter placed the order with dish Network we wanted one of the bundle of dish TV and internet so we talk to a customer service representative and we were quite Frank with what we wanted and it seemed like everything was going really really good we paid the fee to get everything installed the next day the instalator came out and hooked up the dish TV then we're like hey what's going on where's the internet and he was like you know we don't have Internet in this area we were like wow what we ordered a bundle TV and internet then we imediately call the customer service and this was on the 11th of this month and we talked to a tier 3 customer service representative I get which is their supervisor and he said that you didn't order internet and I'm like yeah we actually did order internet and he said will it take 7 to 10 days for us to audit to call and see what's going on because we wanted to cancel it because we're basically paying a little under $100 a month four basic satellite TV cuz you got to keep in mind to use on demand or any of the other features it requires internet which we don't have they misrepresented what they're giving us and once you have it installed you're locked into a contract with them for two years who in their right mind would pay a little under $100 a month for basic satellite TV we have no on demand we have none of the other features we have no pay-per-view all we have is just basic TV and it's funny because they're think that the representative was like that's what you ordered no actually this is not what I ordered because the Internet was supposed to be come with the hopper and all that other cool stuff you get when you get cable TV or satellite TV if I could I would gave them no Stars
