If I could have given less then one start I would have. I ordered cheese and got charged for it. I called for a week to see when they were going to ship it and could never find someone at work. Finally I called my bank and had the charges reversed. They did call me a week later and told me they would deliver it on Friday night, they live down the street from me. Also told me they would be at my home in 30-45 minutes 4 days later still have not heard from them. I would never order nor eat their products again.

normally I love their cheese. I placed a mail order this week end and have called 3 days in a row to find out when they are shipping and no-one ever answers during business hours. If I do not hear from them today I will have my charges reversed tomorrow a.m. I placed an order for 50.00 of cheese I will not just pretend I didn't order. This will be my last order EVER

I love Fagundes cheese. I used to commute to Hanford frequently from Fresno and made this a regular stop. You never know what cheeses they might have. Sometimes there are many varieties and sometimes only a few. The sharp cheddar is amazing and so is the smoked Monterey Jack. It is clear when you enter that this is an actual working farm and selling cheese retail is very much a secondary pursuit. But the attendant is always super warm and helpful. I don't get to go there as much these days but when I do it's always a delight.

This company left me feeling bamboozled. I saw the signs for this place when I first moved to the area and after getting settled I thought I'd try it out. The makeshift signs along the highway should have been an indicator of things to come but I ignored my impulses and thought I'd try it hoping it would be a hidden gem which it wasn't. It was a little bit hard to find but when I pulled into the parking lot I was excited because it look like a rather large operation and there was a big sign saying Company Store which got me excited. I was imagining a whole store full of gourmet cheeses and other dairy products. I was extremely disappointed though when I walked in finding a dingy little office with one loan Refrigeration unit that had a few measly wedges of cheese. There were also baby kittens running around everywhere which made me fearful that I was going to step on one as they were very tiny. Having been to many cheeseries before I immediately asked if I could have samples of the various kinds of cheese of which there were about 6. I was told that they don't have samples and after looking around realized that was probably a good thing because the office didn't look hygienic at all. I decided to give it a shot anyways and chose there Hanford Shire smoked cheddar. I'm not going to go into a lengthy review about the cheese itself because frankly it doesn't deserve one. It was dry and flavorless and sort of grey in color. I think it's time for this company this hang up there shingle and call it a day.
