190 N 12Th Ave, Marketplace At Hanford, Hanford, CA 93230. I just left this store and I've never felt so uncomfortable in my life. I went in with my wife and her sister, to look around. I'm not even from Hanford I drove up here from San Diego. I'm military and I take alot of pride in that. There were two girls working the store tonight 29Dec23 around 800pm.. I walked in and started looking around then noticed that one of the women was following me. I had pulled my pant leg down a few times because I have spandex shorts on under my sweats and they were riding up. I realized that it probably looked a little off to the worker.. however she did not try to hide the fact that she was watching me after that. ( the sweats were not baggy, they were workout joggers and were actually kinda tight. Idk where she thought I would put a WHOLE shoe box?? Down my skin tight joggers and into the secret Willy Wonka compartment on my left thigh?!? SMH common sense is not natural for everyone and glasses girl aka hood clerk Barbie and her accomplice Rotund Ronda obviously lack in that area) She started talking on her mic to the other woman working and I heard her describing me she then looks at me and goes do you have a question? I told her no but they both started following me all around the store. They were laughing at me and it just made me so uncomfortable. It was embarrassing, and so unprofessional on their part. . Ive never seen a set of workers at a department store act like they were in a high school cafeteria the way these two girls did. They were just so nasty and rude.. the defamatory remarks and laughing infuriated me. They should not be employed in a customer service/ retail setting because their maturity level was like negative 30.. I've been stereotyped most of life because of the color of my skin and it just immediately made me so sad that they were so openly laughing at me one of the workers was just so loud about her intent to watch me. . It was pretty disturbing.I WILL NEVER GIVE MY BUSINESS TO THIS STORE. Also I just wanna add I went into this store wearing $200 Jordan's I had just bought from footlocker! We went into this store so my wife could look around. I would never jeopardize my Naval career by stealing a pair of cheap shoes from famous footwear at that. How long is employee training to work at these retail stores? What are the procedures and company policies for loss prevention?How are employees of famous footwear expected to conducted themselves while at work? Are there company guidelines for diversity inclusion?? If stealing had been an issue in the past why is there not store security? If Ross can afford it please tell me famous footwear where are your trained professionals? Are the store clerks also qualified to conduct themselves the way they were tonight?or how about when they chased the little boy with the tote bag out the store as described in the google review two months ago? THIS IS RACISM, THIS IS BIASED, THIS IS SEXISM, THIS IS MICRO AGGRESSION THAT APPARENTLY IS PERMITTED BY THE COMPANIES MANAGEMENT. Please famous footwear please tell me how any of this is ok? I would love to know, because this was absolutely disgusting behavior. By the way the girl with the glasses be weary of her she's not only aggressive she's creepy in the way she goes about watching you and following you. I felt as if she was literally trying to stare through my clothes. There is a lawsuit waiting to happen at this store. The floor workers are a direct reflection of management, management is a direct representation of corporate, and the next level of reflection is the actual foundational leadership of the Famous Footwear company. These wanna be rent a cop floor workers need proper training if the store really wants them to dual as security and clerks. Proper Vigilance mixed with knowledge like oh idk let's see a shoe box probably won't fit into some spandex would be a good start. Education.. please educate and properly qualify the ignorant before an illegal shakedown turns into a harass

Don’t even want to give this one star. But my child and nephews who are 17 decided to come to this store for its reasonable prices once they entered the store my children and my nephews where being followed by the manager with bright red hair because my nephew who loves to carry his tote bag everywhere with him, they decided to discriminate him because he is a boy that wears a tote as a fashion. Mind you there was a women with a zipper backpack and the manager did not follow them like they did my kids ,They then proceeded to follow them in each aisle and chased them out and asked are you going to buy the shoes!? My child and nephews left the shoes in the store and decided to leave at that point because they could not shop in peace or take the time to decide what shoes to get. The manager then decided to call the security to check his bag who obviously did nothing about it.? My child and nephews felt so uncomfortable to shop there. If They felt so uncomfortable with customers with big bags etc they should have have signs about customers who have bigger bags or purses to be left by the door, but they don’t. So this store picks and chose what customers to harass by their appearance. I would not recommend this store we live in the Central Valley for Christ sake this isn’t San Francisco or LA or a big city where looting is happening everyday. Customers should feel relaxed shopping you don’t see target workers following customers. My money will no longer be spent here. I rate this store a -1 they need to retrain their management

Went in and found the shoes I needed for fathers day only to get halted because I was too short to reach the box lol selah was busy but yet she still helped me get my shoes. That's straight up prime example of outstanding customer service. Not many store employees do that these days. Will always come back to this location because of that. Thank you!!

I called to ask 1 question about if they sold non slip shoes, a lady put me on hold for 7 minutes when the call could've ended in less than 30 seconds. Not gonna bother going here. Going to walmart instead!

This famous footwear store has maybe the nicest staff of any of their stores I've been to across the country. We went in asking for Teva sandals and the manager knew exactly what they had in stock. He also was notified right at that moment to start a BOGO sale they were testing, so he made sure to let us know about that before we left and we took advantage of it. So glad we stopped in.
