Avalon windows We went through Home Depot to get an estimate on shutters and they sent a company named Avalon. Avalon showed up gave an estimate of $12,000 for nine windows.. JCPenney's gave an estimate for the exact same thing at $5,000. I told Avalon I do not want shutters from them. However when I wasn't there they came and collected a hot check from my elderly family member for $12,000 and they are refusing to return the money immediately after they left our home I sent them an email telling them I only wanted an estimate from them. I did not want any purchase. I wasn't ready to purchase. I like to get three estimates first they were the first ones to have came out. I explained this to them but they refuse to return the money. I bet if they didn't get that $12,000 check from my elderly family member, they sure in the hell wouldn't be refusing to lower their prices. I'm going to ask around if I find out that they've done equivalent work for less money I'm going to turn them in for elder abuse or maybe I should turn them in anyways for taking money from an elderly person .

Went on Sunday bought a cooler and the gal at customer service very rude and was racist her name Victoria. I will never recommend Home Depot in Hanford ca. The manager needs to talk to his employee and tell them to have good customer skills.

Great store. Lots of products. Definitely geared towards contractors which is great. Inventory is off quite frequently. Small products could be organized better. Overall good quality and great return policy. Pro rewards are a must to keep track of purchases. Definitely better than Lowes app.Bernie Marcus and Arthur Blank dreamed up The Home Depot from a coffee shop in Los Angeles in 1978. Avid DIYers, they envisioned a superstore that would offer a huge variety of merchandise at great prices and with a highly trained staff. Employees would not only be able to sell, but they would also be able to walk customers at every skill level through most any home repair or improvement. With help from investment banker Ken Langone and merchandising guru Pat Farrah, Marcus and Blank opened the first two Home Depot stores in Atlanta the following year. The 60,000-square-foot warehouses dwarfed the competition with more items than any other hardware store. But the heart of Home Depot was the expertly trained floor associates who could teach customers how to handle a power tool, change a fill valve or lay tile. It wasn’t enough to sell or even tell — associates also had to be able to show. Soon, The Home Depot began offering DIY clinics, customer workshops and one-on-one sessions with customers.Marcus and Blank implemented a customer “bill of rights,” which stated that customers should always expect the best assortment, quantity and price, as well as the help of a trained sales associate, when they visit a Home Depot store. These commitments were an extension of the company’s “whatever it takes” philosophy. But that philosophy extended beyond the store walls. After The Home Depot went public in 1981, Marcus and Blank made a commitment to give back to the communities where their stores were located. Following through on that commitment, legions of Team Depot volunteers, backed by The Home Depot Foundation, work tirelessly on their own free time to help our nation’s veterans and communities across the country. From those two stores in Atlanta, Home Depot has grown to more than 2,200 stores in three countries, but in every store, our goal is the same: to earn our customers’ respect by offering the highest level of service, the broadest selection of products and the most competitive prices. As Marcus says in his and Blank’s book, “Built From Scratch,” “At the end of the day, we’re in the people business.”

Face masks mandated yet no one in the store staff enforcing it. We follow states guidelines but feel unsafe shopping in your store based on today’s experience with half your patrons mask less, sneezing coughing. No wonder Kings county is in trouble.

Never contacted us for the job requested. Ended up going with a recommendation from a friend, and glad I did! Best customer service and a job well done! Home Depot's service was non-existent.

Hit or miss with the staff if you can locate them. The older people seem to be more helpful while the younger avoid you like the plague. Don't count on them to cut the wood properly unless you are right there watching. They messed up $150 worth of wood a couple years back for me. The prices are similar to Lowe's but sometimes you get a better deal. I love the military discount but I don't like how rude they are if you are a spouse about it sometimes. The customer service desk is great but most other departments are slow or they page people multiple times and no one shows up for over 20 minutes!!!! I do not recommend
