“I stayed here for a couple weeks, as I travel for work with the railroad. I would have stayed 2 or 3 weeks longer, but didn't make my reservation quick enough.

I was nervous when I initially booked this hotel, due to some of the reviews. After staying there I'll tell you those folks are either up in the night, or this hotel cleaned up their act. This hotel is staffed with the friendliest, most helpful people.

While it is an older hotel, for under $110/night, you won't find a better hotel in Hanford, CA. Now wish me luck, cause I'm heading over to the Best Western.”

“The cleaning crew at this hotel do a great job. Floors, seats, bed, and bathroom were clean and my room had a mini ridge with a separate freezer compartment big enough to it a gallon of ice cream and a couple boxed frozen meals. No bugs when I walked in. The cleanliness exceeded my expectations.
Room amenities were as I expected and for this being a work trip the room was what I needed.
I stayed at this hotel or about a week in mid-November 2025. I was a bit concerned having read some of the other reviews but I was limited on what fit my budget and some of the negative reviews did not seem legitimate. I brought along my UV flashlights (395nm and 36nm for those interested) to check for cleanliness and bed bugs and I was IMPRESSED with how clean the room was. I've stayed at a lot of hotels for the past few years and used my UV lights at some of them and many of those rooms were not well wiped down or even vacuumed. This room here at America's Best Value Inn was THE CLEANEST hotel room I've stayed at all year. While no room I've stayed at had bed bugs, this one did not either AND it a very professionally cleaned carpet and most surfaces showed the staff not only cleaned that surface, but also cleaned it so well it didn't leave streaks that would have been visible with either UV light.
The staff did good and I would stay there again if I had work in the area again.

I will say the location is sometimes loud due to being alongside a major road and trash collection trucks picking up bins but if you aren't a light sleeper it is fine. Occasionally sketchy looking walk in the parking lot but I had no problems with them nor did I have any vehicle or room break-ins during my stay. The building does seem to have cameras covering the parking lot.

Again, I would stay here again if I had work in the area. It's not a luxury destination but it was more than adequate.”
