“This is one of the very best branches . I go out of my way to come here . My office is in Brentwood, we live in marina Del Rey and I come to Manhattan beach because of the exceptional service. I came in today and was greeted by not one person , but two beautiful young ladies at the front entrance. Today my teller was Gloria . I asked if Alex was available but he was assisting another customer . I told her he spoiled us with outstanding service the last 2 times we were here . Gloria said she would be more than happy to help us . She was amazing . She was very warm and friendly and very patient with us . She recommended a special program that would offer me a much higher interest rate. I was very impressed. Gloria was simply amazing . The management is doing a great job in providing outstanding service to all of their clients. We got a chance to say hello to Alex who is awesome ! And don't forget , they have the best gourmet coffee and hot chocolate. Thank you Gloria for a great experience today ... and a special thank you to Danny who helped my daughter!”

Recently, I had an issue with my business checking account and was getting very frustrated, so I decided to go to the Torrace branch located at 24580 Crenshaw, Torrance. When I arrived, I was greeted by Mr. Paulo Hugo, and he asked me how he could help me. I explained to him my situation. After listening to me, Mr Hugo said, " Don't worry, I will take care of you" with a smile.. After that, he went on to his computer and tried diligently to solve my problem.... After several attempts, he said that he needed to hand me over to senior staff because it was something he couldn't do himself, but he assured me that Ms. Brittany Moeia would get me Squared away. After being handed over to Ms Brienty Moeia, she greeted me with a smile and said she would get me handled.. After She investigated my problem. She went right to the source and got the problem solved. She not only took the time but also took the time to explain to me the situation and had the problem solved for me. “I was surprised at F&M's 3.5 star Yelp rating. I read some of the one-star reviews. Many seemed petty, others unfair.F&M is a Long Beach institution. Over the decades, my family has relied on F&M for loans, commercial banking services, safe deposit boxes and personal checking account services. When I needed a substantial six-figure emergency loan in a hurry, I turned to F&M and they came through. I still maintain my account with F&M although I now live in Houston, because I still have connections bringing me to California.F&M is conservative and perhaps a bit staid, but it is also the soundest bank I can name. I'm only sorry they don't do the silver bar clean and j*** at their annual employee parties any more.”
