Building was easy to find. I've had MRIs in the past so I familiar with the process. Receptionist was welcoming. Completed patient paperwork. I was shocked that I had to fully disrobe just for my ankle when with previous ankle MRIs I didn't have to disrobe. (I was told that due to Covid protocols I had too). Angie was the MRI specialist and she explained the process well. Throughout your mri she will make constant contact to make sure you're ok. She Cleaned the dressing room, locker and they give you socks. I took off my toe ring, belly ring, nose ring and ring requested a white envelope to put my items in. When all was said and done, I got dressed paid and left. It was until late at night I realized that I only put on my belly ring and my toe ring and didn't get my nose ring (super small Custome diamond and my ring). I accidentally left in the envelope but trashed it with the socks they give you. I called left a voicemail they called back and the cleaning lady empty the trash. Very disappointed.

First, the overall experience ran smoothly from beginning to end. They checked with my insurance to verify any associated costs for the procedure and responded in timely manner with setting up the appointment. Second, I highly recommend an open MRI for those like myself who struggle with claustrophobia. I looked to the open side during the scan and it helped, tremendously. It's a game changer, in the best way. Third, the staff was warm and welcoming. The gentleman who conducted the MRI put on great classic rock, which made for a super friendly experience. Fourth, I took the CD they give patients to my Orthopedic Specialists at Kerlan Jobe and discussed the results with my P.A. Thank you Bay Harbor MRI! It's a relief to know that I no longer have to fear MRI's.

Excellent staff. Everyone was very friendly. I am very claustrophobic and panicked but they were very understanding and patient. They accommodated me as best as they could so that I could get the procedure done even though it put them behind schedule. Would recommend this facility

Beware of this facility. Their MRI is old and LOW resolution. I was incidentally found to have a brain tumor and it was recommended I get an MRI. My provider did not recommend a location, but like most people, I wanted a facility that was covered by my insurance. I chose this facility because it was in-network. However, when I took the CD to my neurosurgeon, there were 2 sequences missing, so my consultation was a waste of time and money. Bay Harbor was professional enough to courier over a new CD that had all the sequences, but the quality was so bad, the neurosurgeon didn't have enough detail to make a diagnosis. They mailed another CD to me which I forwarded to another neurosurgeon who also stated the quality was that of an old MRI scan. He also could not make a diagnosis. I went back to Bay Harbor and asked for a refund -- they denied me.

The worst place to get an MRI. The girl that works there was unprofessional and I was the last person to get the MRI for that day. I don't know if the girl was having a bad day or what, but does not justify the poor customer service that I had received. While in the machine I had to stop her because she didn't bother to give me ear plugs. The girl had the nerve to tell me I'm the only person that ever requested the ear plugs and tells me if I stop again that I will need to reschedule my MRI. I would never go back there. This girl should absolutely be fired.

Bay Harbor advertises that they are an open MRI and has pictures of the modern Airis Elite machine on this website and also their personal website. Not true. False information. I just went to Bay Harbor two weeks ago for a supposedly OPEN MRI. I was escorted to a small dressing room that was obviously not sanitized between uses. We have Covid-19 going around people. It's very contagious. Wearing a mask helps but you got to go a little further than a mask. The pictures here on Yelp don't reflect my experience at all. I wasn't offered "music", wasn't offered "ear plugs", wasn't offered a "blanket" a "fan" or an eye mask. And the nice machine they show --- where was that---not at Bay Harbor! I'm severely claustrophic and was told this was an OPEN MRI by the technician who attempted to do my MRI because she claimed the sides were open. Well the picture of the MRI machine --- the nice modern Airis Elite machine was not the machine Bay Harbor attempted to use on me. The machine they tried to get me into looked like it was made during World War 1 and I'm not exaggerating. The technician did nothing to assist me. When she started rolling me into the machine, I saw that the top of the machine was going to knock my face mask off and I grabbed the top of the machine and said NO NO NO NO this is not going to work. I requested an open MRI? The top of the MRI machine was literally about 2 inches from my face. The technician said well because the sides are open this is considered an open MRI. I just shook my head. She then said I'll send an order over to your doctor for a sedative and pointed me to the dressing room. She did nothing to try to calm me or assist me in getting this dreaded procedure done. While I was re-dressing, the technician came and handed me a post-it with "10 mg Diazepam 30 min before MRI need driver" and then disappeared. That was it. I wanted to take a picture of the ancient machine they were using so I could let my doctor know that the MRI procedure failed. But the door was closed. I don't recommend this facility at all. The absolute BEST MRI facility is called Westwood Open MRI if you need to have an OPEN MRI. They are truly the best. They give you ear phones and ask what type of music you'd like to listen to, eye mask or just look in the mirror so you can see the people outside or look outside to distract yourself, oh they sanitize and clean, they calm you, they talk to you, treat you like Royalty. I didn't need to take any drugs!! I was in and out of the office in less than a half hour. If you're claustrophobic this is the place to go to. The real deal.

This place was fantastic and the staff is really really nice and accommodating. They helped me with everything. I had on Jewelry that was hard to take off and a ton of hairpins in my head. Corinne and Lillie get a shout out They are also really reasonable when it comes to pricing. I had to pay out of pocket so I was pleasantly pleased. I would give them10 stars if I could. Michele D.

If you're claustrophobic and hate regular MRI machines, Bay Harbor open MRI is the place for you. We have used them 4-5 times and from making the appointment to having the test, the process has worked out smoothly. Lily and Madra are both so nice and patient, especially if they know you are nervous. It's still a loud machine, but having it be more open and having a calming tech is very helpful. If you still think you'll have anxiety, you can have your doctor prescribe Ativan prior to the test, which definitely relaxes you enough to reduce the stress. Each visit there has been as pleasant as any medical test can be, with the exception of one time a male tech who was curt and bossy. That was a few years back and we haven't seen him since. I recommend if you have concerns about a closed MRI machine to request the open MRI. Sometimes, it may take time to get an appointment, but Lily really does try to get you in quickly. Also, keep in mind, that doctors prefer the standard closed MRI images, as they are more detailed and clear.

This office since I called to make my appointment they were very professional and friendly. It was hard for me to get to there office because of transportation, BAY HARBOR MRI offered me free transportation and was able to get seen the same day, as I walked in they were ready for me no waiting time the was the best part. My doctor received my MRI reports the very next day. I will recommend this place to all my friends and family. My doctor also highly recommend BAY HARBOR MRI
