Canine Retreat provides dog daycare and boarding where dogs can enjoy free play in the largest indoor dog parks, featuring ramps, slides, beds, and houses with no cages. Overnighters sleep in the park next to loving attendants. The staff are wonderful, professional, and excellent, taking good care of every pet and easing pet parents' anxiety. They pre-screen all dogs for temperament and group them mainly by size to minimize conflicts and keep things safe, with a handler present at all times. Pet parents love the live webcams to check in on the action and watch the fun, providing great comfort. Dogs have plenty of room to run, expend energy, socialize with other dogs, or find a corner to chill. The relatively unstructured dog interaction is good for socialization. While dogs are not routinely fed, special needs can likely be worked out. The experience is highly recommended, with dogs leaving happy and smiling after a fun day. Canine Retreat continues to be voted South Bay's favorite.
