I took the intro tig welding class and had a great time. Bill is an excellent teacher and taught me everything I needed to know to get started. The small class size is a must when first getting started.

Bill is an amazing teacher and guide if you want to learn to weld. I had never welded before and he helped me get used to, and understand, the real world feel for it. Highly recommended!

I've learned to gas, stick, and MIG weld, but always wanted to learn TIG. I have physical issues that make it more difficult, but Bill was full of great ideas on how to make it work. I have since taken advanced TIG (highly recommended) and have become comfortable with the process. Now it's just a matter of practice. Great classes!!!

I recently took a MIG welding class with Bill, and it was a fantastic experience. Bill's combination of kindness, humor, and extensive experience made the class enjoyable and enriching. Prior to the class, my knowledge of welding was limited, but in just five hours, Bill managed to teach me so much. His hands-on teaching style allowed me to practice the techniques right away, and he provided valuable tips and guidance throughout. Bill's passion for welding was evident, and he genuinely cared about our progress. His patience and encouragement created a positive learning environment that fueled our growth. From feeling like a novice, I now feel excited and eager to take on welding projects and continue practicing. If you are looking to learn how to weld for person projects, work, or just for fun - I highly recommend taking this MIG welding class - 5/5!

Screen printing sesh done. Bill is amazing and very knowledgeable. He stuck around to teach me hands-on and made sure I got it down before tear down. It was well past the class time. Good and solid class. They do motorcycle engine, welding, and woodworking classes too. Wild. Recommend.

Two-night MIG class was great. Went in with zero experience and Bill was able to really teach in a way that made things easy to pick up on. You learn industry standard practices and get into welding with his coaching. I loved how much we got to weld on his machines and the instant feedback he’s able to provide.

I came across the Mig welding class when I was trying to brush up on welding through YouTube. I get the concept and made two pieces of metal stick together before but it wasn't pretty and comes with a lot of grinding ..... I was really happy that I took the course course because having the instant feed back as little as trying different hand placement or down to scoring the area you are preparing to weld was great. The instructor to student ratio plus Bills life long experience and knowledge on welding and metal fab gave me the confidence and reps during the class. Thanks Bill and I'll see you again when I level up to MiG

I'm so glad I came across these workshops! I've been working on classics and hot rods for ages and have always had metal shops and welders handle that work for me. I got to the point where I really felt like learning this was necessary for these builds. I actually had started looking just before the pandemic hit and everything was shut down so a few years later I started Yelping and came across Bill's classes.Bill, as others have mentioned, is a wealth of knowledge. Not only that but he's an incredible teacher and that can't be said for everyone who's a master at their craft. I signed up for the Sunday MIG class and there were just a handful of students. This was great because it gave us a lot of hands on time, question time, and hands on practice. By the end of the class you'll be welding a variety of pieces and try different best practices. After the course I felt confident to tackle some work at home but am going to sign up for the TIG course soon. What I think is really incredible is that I've been in contact with Bill after the class. I've been able to ask questions about purchasing my welding set up, general questions, and tool set up. He's been so helpful in getting up and going at home. I find that so unique in a class and instructor. Definitely worth the investment in your skillset and a great person to learn from!

I'm an automotive hobbyist who was looking to learn TIG welding. I really enjoyed and definitely improved my skills from the instruction. Bill has a large shop that will blow your mind with all the different tools, machines, and workstations. He is a great instructor and pays close attention to students and explains fundamentals and basics very well. I had a great experience, and I plan to return for multiple sessions. Here's a pic of my work. I'm still a beginner!

This place is amazing. We need more educators like Bill. He gives people an opportunity to learn valuable skills in a supportive environment. I recommend these classes to anyone who is interested in entering the hobbyist and DIY world.

Just finished Bill's Motorcycle Survival workshop. Loved the class. Bill is a huge wealth of knowledge and experience (like 50+ years). He practically had an answer to everything and explained it in a coherent, fundamental, well-paced way everyone in the class could understand. You can tell he loves to teach and it's not about making a quick buck for him. He's an incredible resource and also extremely welcoming. I'm a fairly new rider, don't know much about vehicle systems, and also am not mechanically inclined. After class I still wouldn't be able to become a mechanic because I think that takes years of training and experience, but I definitely am more knowledgeable and have a basic understanding of how my motorcycle works. Most of the class was lecture style, we had a couple hands on demonstrations. What makes this class special is his way of explaining things, that he has real world motorcycle parts you can hold in your hand, he can answer your questions in a thorough manner, and that you have the beginnings of a support system for future motorcycle work/projects/advice.Definitely want to take his Engine rebuilding class one day and also do some work out of his shop!Great class!

I took the half day MIG class. Bill(instructor) explained and showed different techniques to weld MIG in different positions. When the students started welding, Bill was going from student to student providing tips and helpful criticism. He gave us what to look for in a good weld. And how to be safe while welding. This class is packed with information and plenty of hands-on time. Great intro to MIG welding. But you'll have to practice to have consistently good welds. Well worth attending.
