Security staff is cool. Nurses don't know how to keep to themselves, they keep stealing my brothers charger for his cell phone and he is critically ill. I didn't know hospital's hired thieves.

Had to wait 6 hrs. Understand it was packed but a lot of office staff were just doing around chatting and it just didn’t look professional. Moana movie played on loop (couldn’t they at least switch it up??? Still stuck in my head a week later). Once we got back to the procedure and room, staff was extremely professional and thorough. The environment is just kinda sucky. If those front desk peeps have time to be on their phones chomping on their gum and telling jokes, they have time to make sure people are comfortable and that there’s not trash everywhere. I know there are “cleaning staff” for that but they only came through once in the 6 hours I was there and unfortunately, people who are sick make messes. It would also be nice if they could provide water. How expensive would that be?

The hospital staff was a mixed bag of professionalism and courtesy. While the nurses were kind and informative, the front desk staff was rude and defensive. They need to improve their attitude and their way of greeting patients. The doctor who treated my mom was also disappointing. He gave us his consultation over the phone, which felt impersonal and rushed. I think he should have met us face to face and explained his diagnosis more thoroughly. Overall, it was a good experience in terms of the medical care, but the customer service left a lot to be desired.

I get how large the hospital is and how much the nurses and doctors do to keep patients content with their services, but there is no reason why my mother has to wait six hours to get her results. They attended to her quickly in the beginning, I understand that they needed to process the results and everything, it's just that I'd figured they would have some compassion with what she went through, and at least tell her how long she would have to wait. (Which I won't say here in this review, but had to do with her being physically assaulted.)I know you can't guilt trip them into getting to you quicker, but they really have to do something with how long people wait. You'd think for it having multiple floors and sections, there'd be quite a lot of staff, which would mean plenty of them getting to you, but no.

Currently sitting in the E.R. In here for something simple, it’s been 4 hours. I have watched a woman writhing in pain for the past three hours, another one has come out openly crying because of the pain she’s experiencing, the waiting room is completely full, and has been for the entirety of my visit. At this point, I have some questions for whoever makes decisions at Kaiser. Who in the hell decided to make this emergency room the size of a Starbucks when it’s intended to serve the entire South Bay region in the second largest city in the nation? It’s an emergency room, people are coming in with urgent needs, and none of them are being met urgently. What is going on here? They obviously don’t care about their patients. Staff is doing all they can, but they’re working in a shoebox.

Waiting hours to be seen. Only one person is working check in and triage. They’re barking at people who just need help. SF Kaiser was 1000x better. Never waited more than 30 minutes. This is awful. Don’t come here

Wait times are horrible. I would give zero stars if that was an option. And they don't seem to care about it at all.

waited hours upon hours when I just needed some anti biotics for an infection as I was unable to walk due to the cut. They informed me that I would be needing all this equipment but I'm pretty sure they just wanted to scam my insurance
