“Outstanding vet care! Everyone from the front desk to the vet techs are always on top of things, listen, and go out of their way to ensure we’re taken care of. I transferred my dog here after he was diagnosed with diabetes, I didn’t feel his previous vet clinic was doing enough for him since it had been months and we couldn’t get his glucose managed. Immediately after switching over to Dr Nawar, my dog Dexter improved substantially. He was energetic and playful again, glucose is controlled, and he just seems like his old self again. Dr N takes the time to have a conversation about options and encourages a collaborative effort on my dogs care. I can’t thank the team here enough for their dedication, attention to detail and AMAZING customer service! I bring both my dogs here now and it’s the best decision I’ve made for them.”

“I cannot say enough good things about this vets office. All of their vets on staff are smart, compassionate, and very driven to do whats best for your pets. I had a cat with HCM and they gave me YEARS more time than expected because of the amazing care they gave him. When my other cat cut off part of his paw they took him within MINUTES of his accident and stitched him right up even though he was acting like an absolute psycho. I have a very very nervous xolo, and rather than treating her like a dangerous dog, they treated her like a scared dog. Gentle, patient and kind. I recently adopted a puppy from a fake rescue and he had 2 seizures right after taking him home. Not only did they see him within minutes of his seizures, they stayed hours late to care for him and told me to report the rescue. He is now happy and doing great. Every single person who works there is kind and down to earth, from front desk and asistants to the vets i just love them so much. Its the only place i trust with my babies.”

She spent lots of time reviewing Zorros records & explained her plan well. i appreciated the education & expertise. Staff front & back also good: both gentle with Zorro & me! Prices better than VCA. Close to our house so very easy to get there. Glad we did the MEET & Greet while Zorro well so we have a vet when needed & wellness.”

“Vet visits can sometimes feel stressful, but this is one of the few places that immediately makes both humans and pets feel more at ease. Every person and pet I encounter here has such a genuinely calm, happy, and welcoming vibe, which feels great for a veterinary place.
Our first cat fam, Clem, has been coming here for about three years now. We first brought him in as a stray we had taken in, and I still remember how kind, patient, and supportive the staff were during that experience. As someone navigating the uncertainty of helping a stray cat for the first time, their reassurance and compassion meant so much to me.
I can say that because of that experience, we recently brought in our newest family member- another rescue unhoused community cat, and the staff were just as wonderful as they were/they have been. They were calm, knowledgeable, patient, and incredibly understanding while answering all of my noob “new cat in the house” questions.
It’s rare to find a place that consistently treats both animals and people with so much warmth and kindness. I’m genuinely grateful for the care, compassion, and support this team has shown our little family over the years. Thank you for making what could be stressful experiences feel safe, comforting, and full of hope.”

“Dr Hutson is an amazing doctor. We have taken our dog and cat to her for over 5 years. She leads with compassion and loves our animals as if they were her own. Our dog dances in excitement when we pull into the parking lot because he loves coming to see her. She performed a complicated surgery on our cat that was a success and called or emailed to check in every couple of days until his follow up visit. We trust her recommendations and guidance and I strongly recommend her.”
“It's hard to say much about the back technicians because I can't see what they do. I can tell some of them are caring and hard working, but my dog is very stressed when she has to go back there, even when drugged and exercised to her limits (which are many). It's sometimes a bit concerning when they take her back and don’t take her treats, or when I know they didn't use them, so she'll probably always be afraid of the vet.
But Dr. Ogino and Dr. Tong, at the least, have been great with her. She doesn't need a muzzle with them, and they've never suggested it, even though they aren't the first vets she saw. My pup definitely is ok with them, even if she gets a bit scared during certain procedures and needs to be bribed and held a bit.
I can't remember the names of everyone at the front, but Rachael is a wizard when it comes to Trupanion insurance. Marissa has fought for us many times when they've tried to deny us coverage (I don't recomend them but, well, mkst insurance sucks). Ani is super patient and gives us clear communication via text. I know there's another young girl who is always super friendly, and another women I've seen in both the front and the back that always greets my pup and has often calmed other clients as my pup practices her manners at the vet, because I really try hard to show her she doesn't need to be scared of the vet, but I understand not everyone is as great as the people I mentioned above.”

“I can't say enough about the amazing team at BARC. My senior French Bulldog Kirby goes for physical therapy and acupuncture and they have provided top notch care. She recently had an IVDD flare up and bounced right back which I believe is due to the care she has received during preventative PT and accupuncture sessions. It's amazing to see my dog getting bursts of puppy energy due to the program here. Everyone on staff is always so perceptive to the pets' needs as they evolve. The entire team is also simply wonderful, caring, and kind. They have created a very positive environment. Thank you BARC!”

“I have never met Dr. Fahrer in person since we started visiting here in the pandemic, but she has diagnosed and cared for my dog’s two eye problems and she and the staff there have been very kind and helpful. My dog’s eyes looked terrible and were itchy even though We had seen two vets for his eyes prior, but once we went to Eye Care for Animals, he was diagnosed and has drops that have improved him to the point that his eyes look good and don’t seem to bother him any longer. Much appreciated! They are only in Torrance on Monday just FYI.”
